Varget for bulk rounds on progressive

Guys, I'm fixing to load 3,000 to 5,000 rounds of .223 and I know varget doesn't meter well on a progressive, but I have a large amount of varget. I was wondering how much variance would be expected metering with a Dillon 550B.

    Thinking of shooting f class

Re: Thinking of shooting f class The range I shot at does not have pits. The match is shot with 2 spotter rounds on metal gongs, and 20 scoring shots. Then the targets are pulled and new targets put back up for the second relay which is shot in the same fashion as the first relay. I guess it...

    Thinking of shooting f class

Re: Thinking of shooting f class I shot my first F Class 500 yard match last weekend and my first group was 5" low and 2.5" to the left. On my 2nd group I adjusted and shot one of the best groups I've ever shot. When I went and checked the target I was 10" low and 2.5" left. Had I adjusted...

Range Report New 700 first trip to the Range with Bushnell

Re: New 700 first trip to the Range with Bushnell Instead of ditching the 178 Amax's, why not load a couple up with the RL-15 and see how they perform? I'll bet they fly pretty much the same as the SMK's.

    Need Advice - Reloading/Group Shape

Re: Need Advice - Reloading/Group Shape From what I'm finding out these nodes are mostly repeatable in different guns and even with different barrel lengths to some extent(20" to "24"). The one thing that will skew the results is the brass since the neck tension and capacity of various brass...

    Need Advice - Reloading/Group Shape

Re: Need Advice - Reloading/Group Shape The high OCW node for Varget and 168 SMK's is 46 gr. Always work up looking for pressure signs. If your gun will handle the pressure @ 46 gr. then play with the distance to the lands to dial it in. The low OCW node is somewhere right around 44.0 gr. and...
