Adjustable target stock for PWS / 10/22?

I'm in the process of building a PWS T-3 Summit build (toggle-bolt-style 10/22) and I'm looking for a adjustable target/tactical stock. It's not perfectly ideal, but I'd like to use it as a trainer. I've looked at virtually every stock that I can find and the only two stocks that seem decently...

Two 700 5R questions: using 5.56 and bolt upgrades

I've got a 700 5R in .223 and have two questions: 1) Does anyone run 5.56 NATO through their 5R's? Or rather, is it safe? 2) I'm looking to upgrade my bolt (specifically the bolt knob), but I want to keep the original factory bolt in stock condition in the event I go to resell it later. What...

    Remington 700 Crown Damage

It's pretty crappy that it took them 5 weeks to get it back to you. That's 5 weeks of you out the money and the product you paid for because of THEIR mistake.

    Torque Wrench for Mounting Optics

I have both the Borka MG7 kit, as well as some Seekonk T-handles. I take the Borka with me in my field bag and use the T-handles at home. I seriously LOVE the Borka kit.

Has that been legitimately confirmed? I've only seem rumors up till this point.

    Is it over!!!????

I've noticed guns aren't selling nearly as quick anymore, and some of the non-military calibers of ammo are coming back into (and staying) in stock, such as 7mm, .45 ACP, etc. However, military and police-caliber ammo is still non-existent around here. .22 seems to be hit or miss. Usually it's...

Initial consensus on the ISSC SPA Target?

I've been looking for a .22 trainer to save money on ammo costs compared to my AICS .223 build. I noticed the ISSC SPA Target several weeks back and it looks to be a decent platform. With the AICS-style stock, it just might fit the bill as a direct trainer. Anyone have any inside info or...

has anybody run an FS 2000 hard

Brave man. An M4 will only take about ~600 consecutive rounds before the barrel heats to over 1700* F and fails. While your FS2000 is no M4, I'd be worried to go even near half of that.

Where to locate an intermediate gas tube?

If you look closely at the picture, it shows the gas tube to be curved. The Noveske switchblock is the same as any other gas block as far as gas tubes are concerned (it's a regular gas block with the addition of a gas valve - everything else should be the same). The Syrac gas blocks all have a...

No idea. I looked at their site for a description, but it wasn't explicit. It'd probably be best to contact them directly and ask.

    Handguard/Bipod Recommendations

There's several handguards without rails, but they usually don't come with mountable rail sections. How are you planning to mount the bipod to the rail? Drill holes and bolt a picatinny section on? I'd seriously suggest the NSR rail for your purposes. It has a top rail only, but it allows...

    JP match barrel & Bolt

Answer: it depends. A tighter headspacing fit can lead to tighter groupings; but, that's not the same as matching the bolt to the barrel. A matched bolt+barrel combo means that a bolt and barrel were picked that were within tolerance. How close they were to a "perfect" tolerance depends on the...

    1000 Yard Setup

As far as optics for your build go, I'd take a look at the Weaver 3-15x50 Illuminated Tactical. It's illuminated, glass-etched reticle, waterproof - honestly the best scope under $1,000, in my opinion. The one I had was solid as a rock. $750 or so shipped at most places. It's made in Japan in...

a question for all Diamondback AR-15 owners

It could be the mag, but 9/10 times, it's an out-of-spec lower. The best way to test it is to put the PMag in question into another AR lower. If it locks in place, it's probably an out of spec lower (or one on the very limits of acceptable tolerances). If the mag doesn't lock into another lower...

    JP match barrel & Bolt

Get an AR GO/NO-GO gauge, such as the ones here: GO/NO-GO GAUGE SETS | Brownells As long as the gauge fits and the lugs on the bolt don't have any cracking/chipping/unusual wear, it'll work fine.

    JP match barrel & Bolt

To ensure proper headspacing. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. AR's are primarily military-style weapons. As such, their design allows for deliberate tolerances. These tolerances allow "slop" in the design to aid in reliability (a perfect-fitting AR would lock up very quickly in most...
