They will break shit if you load them up . The gun has to go some where and if it's tied down something has to give . Lighter caliber will most likely never show problems but if they kick it's for a reason bipod and rear bag will make you shoot better and done right it's better than a leadsled

+1 on the manfrotto the heavier and more stable the better but if it's going in your pack carbon fiber manfrotto is the way to go

Re: Bullet stuck in Barrel Had it happen when I first started loading . I soaked the bore with oil and used the biggest diameter oak dowel that would fit in the bore and beat it out it took five dowels and I learned to be much more careful with the amount of lube I use on my cases

Re: Barnes Match Burners .308 Hard to not use lapua or matchkings . Bergers all very proven to work . Maybe if the gave them to me but I would never pay mk prices for them I would just buy match kings

Any one try the rl 33 in the 338edge with 300 mk or 300 bergers any info would be great I have been using h1000 and retumbo but have thoughts of RL 33 doing for the edge what RL 17 did for my 6.5x284 .
