Re: Threaded vs Non threaded barrel
I have a suppressor on my .243. Think it looks horrible but serves a purpose. Won't affect accuracy unless the crown is bodged as already stated. I did find the the suppressor reduced muzzle flip slightly which was nice.

When I see things of beauty like this, it makes living in the UK suck even more. Dare I ask if these can be exported to the UK?

Re: Does Paint Hurt the Value of a Rifle?
I wouldn't worry me if the gun was painted or not, I'm buying the rifle for its accuracy and build. Paint is paint, simple. I've just painted mine in Krylon, if I get bored or want a change 1hr later and it's all stripped off

Re: First attempt at camo painting a rifle
Thanks again guys.
I've got a load of old 100 grain rounds knocking about. I might throw a load of them down in quick succession and see how the paint holds as suggested. Might even do a video too for a laugh.
I quiet fancy a set of the viper...
Re: First attempt at camo painting a rifle
Thanks very much guys. nice to read such positve comments. im gonna get some better quality pictures today.
I do have a Starlight Archer Monocular that clips onto the front of the scope (hence the large butt plate) but couldn't bring myself to paint...
Re: First attempt at camo painting a rifle
Thanks very much.
In the end I just thought what's the worst that can happen. It's only paint.
I'll probably keep it like that for 6 months and then paint it again
