Muzzle device options for AK with turned down muzzle?

Hey guys, I recently inherited a polytech mak-90 (not a norinco surprisingly, but a polytech branded mak-90). I want to add a muzzle device since I do that to all my rifles, my main problem is that the AK is one of the postban ones with turned down barrel threads, the end of the muzzle measures...

Accessories WTB: AR15 14.5" lightweight barrel with pinned brake

Hey guys, It has been a very long time since I've posted here, I am getting back into recreational firearms after being on hiatus for about 6 years, and I want to start by changing up my AR15 from 6.8spc to 5.56. I would like to start by purchasing the barrel and worry about the bolt and...

    Chargemaster crapped out again

Also, i believe, there are instructions on hornady's website on how to fine tune the speed on the auto charge to make it more accurate, i have done so on mine and haven't had any problems overcharging since, its usually done dispensing in the time it takes me to seat a bullet.

    .300wm - .300wsm

If you can run AICS mags, maybe look at Alpha 300WSM mags, whats the OAL on the Accurate mags? if its close to 2.950" you should be able to run the heavies, I load my 208gr. AMAX and 230gr. Berger Hybrids to 2.965" in my Alpha mags and they feed fine and shoot great.

    How universal are short actions??

For Savage rifles, where barrels can be changed by the user without the need for a smith, a long action may be preferred, since you can switch between most any cartridge except for the really large magnums. I have my long action 110 that i interchange between 243 and 284, and I'm looking around...

Rifle Scopes scope still not in..

It would be helpful if they had some sort or status on the page as to availability, most people (myself included) just assume that if it doesn't say backordered or sold out, that it is in stock. This exact same thing happened to me, I ordered a scope from them thinking they had it in stock...

    Roberts Precision Rifles .284 Win

H4831SC is pretty much the go to accurate powder for the 284, Reloader 17 is the hotrod powder if you want a bit more velocity. You should get pretty close to 3000fps with H4831.

How much recoil for a 300 WM

I have a long action that I use for 243 and 284, both are fantastic cartridges and feed and shoot just fine from my long action magazine. A 300 set up right wont kick very much at all,my 300WSM with a muzzle brake and my Stockade tactical stock kicks roughly like my fathers 7-08 weatherby...

Newb to SH seeking advice from you vets

Why not just make your Stevens into a switchbarrel and upgrade it a bit? Stevens rifles are nearly identical to standard Savage rifles and can accept most if not all aftermarket parts made for Savage rifles, just buy a new barrel, the necessary parts to switch the barrel (barrel vise, barrel nut...
