    50 BMG for the win

That's what it would take, carry more than a 50 for that distance.

    50 BMG for the win

Barrel length and improve cartridge design to increase volume. Blow the shoulders out and take the taper off. Look at the 510 Allen, an excellent example of how a precision 50 should be crafted.

    50 BMG for the win

2657, that's all? Give our boys good cartridges. The 338s, 375s, and 408s have proven themselves much much farther.

    50 BMG for the win

With all those bullets, toss precision out the window. But I guess minute of man is good enough for you. Better make it minute of truck with a 50.

    50 BMG for the win

You guys are funny, you must be thinking ELR stops at 1800 yards. Carry a 50 out with the trash when you shoot beside the 338/375/408. If a 50 is a measurement for ELR, then the 22 looks so damn good!

    50 BMG for the win

John, I figured that would get people stirred up. Must not be much interest for ELR.

    50 BMG for the win

No need to keep it going when a 50 is the only extreme range cartridge. Let us 338-375-408 guys pick it up past 2500 yards when you run out of juice /accuracy.

URSA Virginia Fun Shoot from May 25th - pics and comments

This was a very fun shooting experience. It is very addicting shooting over 2000 yards and I definitely have already solved my scope base issue. To clarify, there were no hits past 2500 target. Shooting these big wildcats gets the adrenalin flowing and engaging a target at that distance puts...

Shoalwater, I know it will. From the experience I have had and as passionate about handloading as I am, I do not think it will be difficult to handload for. From the very limited time I have spent with this rifle Mark has made, I do not doubt for a second that it will be a shooter. lash, I...

    Short Action Customs 260

So guys, after I got out to the range, I shot 10 rounds cleaning between each shot. The ten Remington core-lock (conserving hard to find components) all went within one inch of each other, and excluding a flier were about 3/4 MOA. It probably would have been even better had I not left my rear...

    Short Action Customs 260

Guys, I finally got my hands on my rifle. The pictures do not do this masterpiece justice. Mark is a phenomenal guy to work with and I cannot say enough about his craftsmanship. The fluting by twisted barrels is AWESOME!!!!! I am getting to shoot it today so I will let you all know how it does.
