    Brass shavings when resizing

Well I am pretty new to reloading and I just got my FL sizing die dialed in. My only issue is that on the downstroke it stops about 1/3 of the way down and I have to force the case out of the die. This results in small brass shavings coming off of the neck. I'm not sure if lubing is the problem...

    Virgin brass question

Re: Virgin brass question Yeah I like it so far. I read a few bad things about the dummy round that came with it for overall length but I honestly I find it really easy and convenient.

    Virgin brass question

Re: Virgin brass question Well no I'm actually not sure because I measured them with a rcbs headspace gauge but some are 10 thou under what my fired brass is.

    Virgin brass question

I just bought 50 pieces of winchester brass that have never been fired. My problem is that some or these cases have way too much headspace (around 10 thou or more). Should I totally disregard this and load them up to get them firefomed to my chamber? Any response would be very helpful.

Range Report Berger Hybrid for Hunting?

Re: Berger Hybrid for Hunting? Well I don't plan on shooting far enough to have my bullet be even close to the speed of sound so I think I might just have to go with the 210 vld hunting. The only thing that bugs me with those is that I'm gonna have to mess with seating depth but I guess...

Range Report Berger Hybrid for Hunting?

I am looking at berger's hybrids and would love to try them through my 300 wsm. As well as they would preform on paper, I am just not so sure of how they would do on game. Does anyone have experience taking game with these bullets (besides the 300 grain) that showed good results? Btw I am...

    Rifle build help

Re: Rifle build help I do think the templar action will fit into a Mcree stock. On Mcree's website it lists these acions that will fit into the stock-- Remington 700, Lawton 7000, Stiller TAC30 & Predator, Surgeon 591 & RSR, HS Precision Pro 2000. All of these action are considered...

    20 moa Rail Question

Well I recently put a egw 20 moa rail on one of my rifles and put some seekins rings on as well. The problem is that I actually didn't gain anything close to 20 moa in the elevation turret of my scope...if any at all. Before I added the rail I could dial a ways past 30 moa (30 was the most I...

    Browning A Bolt dbm Question

I have two rifles that are Browning A bolts that both shoot extremly well. I really love these rifles but the one major issue that I have always had with them is their mag system. I know the badger dbm systems are designed for a remington 700 style action but do you guys think a badger M4 of M5...
