Re: Cleaning Rod and Muzzle Crown I would say your crown is fine. I have a hard time believing a soft material like brass id gonna dent, mar, or slightly scratch a steel barrel. Shoot it and I doubt there will be a problem.

Re: M1A Question My socom 16 does it as well. Never had nay problems with it. I also have a "custom" national match type gun that I built and it does not have the ping ringing sound? Both shoot as good as they should and function too. I wouldn't worry about it. Travis

Re: how much ring gap do you go for? I don't think I have ever used a torque wrench on any of my rings and they all seem to shoot fine and don't leave ring marks either. Just don't superman them and you'll be fine. Just tighten them down evenly is what I have noticed being important more...
