Re: Looking for a knife I had to google the MSS and I like the blade shape. The handle looks different but should be comfortable. The Eagle sheath they use is ok I guess. I had a BD dive knife with the same sheath but did not replace it. A kydex sheath might be the way to go but doubt it...
Re: Some Hi-Power Love Looks great and the High Power has been my favorite for years. It fits the side of my boys well in a holster and my go to pistol.

Re: Coffee Thermos I've not used a thermos for years after I dropped my Hot Wheels glass lined one. I got a Stanley thermos years ago and always kept my coffee hot. How hot do you like your coffee? I use Nalgene water bottles with a Outdoor Research insulated pouch and it works fairly well...
Re: Scope or Spotter upgrade? I would get a better scope for the rifle first. Sell the Bushnell and save for a spotting scope. You should be able to find a decent used spotting scope for a few hundred dollars and move up to a better one if you think you need to.
Re: ARD for Kowa TSN-602 I measured my Leupold and the outside diameter of the Kowa is probably too large to use the slip on Tenebraex covers. Too large for any screw in ARD's that I know of as well.
Re: ARD for Kowa TSN-602 A ARD for the M-22 might work and they will fit on a Leupold Mark 4 spotting scope. What are the outside dimensions of objective on the Kowa? The front of the Kowa looks larger.

Re: Leupold Mark IV with Badger NV mount Now that just about ruined my day. I just ordered a TACT3 tripod for my Mark 4 and just had to see this. Nice setup you have there and I'm glad that I saw it. I was going to get a Badger NV mount but did not know that I would have to remove the rubber...
Re: Vortex 10x50 tactical scope Very nice and I've wanted one since I first saw one. I keep hoping to see a used one but there aren't many in circulation. Have you tried using it without a tripod? I know it depends on the user but at 10 power I usually need something to steady it. I can use...
Re: Spotting scope for 1+ mile shooting/observation. I got a smoking deal on a Fuji 80ED and the seller used it at that range with no problems. I have used it a few times but need a newer heavy tripod to utilize it to it's fullest potential. If I had not found it I was going to get a...
Re: Question on Leupold spotting scopes I love mine but it is not as nice as my Fujinon 80ED in some ways. With that said the Mark 4 goes with me most days because of the size. It is not much larger than my 7x50's and I really like it's eye relief. I think that you made the right choice as...
Re: Made in USA binoculars? I've seen a few Fujinon binoculars with "made in the USA" on them. Most were military M22's and M24's but I do know of a commercial 7x50 binocular. I've been told that a neckstrap can be put on one and be "made" in the USA but I imagine that there is more to it...
