Rifle Scopes Which spuhr for atacr?

Spuhr SP4601 or SP4001 should work just fine. I have had the SP4001 with a 5-25x56 PM2 and a Hensoldt 4-16x56 over varmint type barrels.

    PRI MK12 MOD 0

If I could have had one, I would have bought one allready. But gunlaws in Sweden makes it impossible. I have to stick to bolt actions.

    TRG Rifles picture thread.....??

A photo from last weekends competiton. Ringing steel at 1000 meters. TRG22 with KRG folder. Sako bipod. Ase Utra SL7BL suppressor. Delta Stryker HD in Spuhr mount.

    Interesting Sniper video.

Just a skinny civilian here, but the video was shit! I have no doubt the dude can shoot but they over complicated it and could not even communicate corrections to each other and was way too stoked on pretty standard stuff.

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

I was in Stockholm, shooting the best competition of the year this past saturday, Sommarträffen 2020. Here I am, shooting steel at 1000 meters with my TRG22, chambered in .308 winchester, no less. Using my handloads with Lapua Scenar L 175 grain bullets. Oh, and I would have used other...

208 or 225 ELD Match for .300 Win Mag at 1 Mile

I use Hornady ELD M 208, ELD-X 212 and Lapua Scenar L 220 grain in my .300 WM. All with great results. I have tried the old classic 190 grain SMK but I feel that the .300 win mag really shines when you push the heavier pills. Been using H1000, VV N170 and Norma MRP powders.

Your opinion wanted on TRG Mods

I scored a decked out TRG22 from a friend early on this year. It has been a dream rifle of mine for several years, and it replaced a souped up R700. So, it was decked out with a lot of aftermarket goodies, like the KRG spigot, picatinny rail, KRG folder etc etc. Here is what I changed and how I...

Rifle Scopes Which optic is better

Whats with all the NXS bashing? I find it to be a very capable scope, sure, its not a Schmidt & Bender but still a good and rock solid scope. But given the choice, I do prefer FFP.

    .338 options, .338-.408?

Yeah, the TRG42 is a pricey platform, but then again, quality dont come cheap. With that said, some of the parts for it, carry a pretty crazy price tag. The Tac338 is a nice platform too, thats for sure. I still think I would go TRG42, if given the choice. But thats me. Get what gets your...

    .338 options, .338-.408?

Whats wrong with the original idea of a TRG42, its a fine rifle. Just get the KRG folding stock for it and a scope of your liking. Cant go wrong with that set up!

Do I need the seating stem to load ELD-M?

I would guess that the seating stem only fits Hornady dies. Having said that, I have loaded about 600-700 of 208 grain ELD-M and 212 grain ELD-X with the regular stem and have not had a single issue with them. I cant tell if it affects the accuracy potential, but they have still given me first...

New RPR 338 Magnum, Can't Get Good MOA

When I got my first (and still only) magnum rifle, it took me about 200 rounds to get settled with it. It is a .300 Winchester Magnum. The .338 burns close to another 20 grains of powder, with heavier bullets. So I can imagine that it has some kick to it. This will make it harder. A good bipod...

    TRG Rifles picture thread.....??

An inch shorter? Really? Last time I loaded 6.5x47L the COL was 69.5mm. I run my .308 win loaded with Scenar L 175 grains with a COL of 71mm. So there is a giant 1.5mm difference.

(old)Sako TRG-21 - will it fit the KRG Whiskey-3 chassis? Anyone tried it?

I am pretty sure that the KRG stock will fit a TRG21 as well. As far as I know, they did not change anything on the main beam of the chassis, which makes me believe that it will fit. I have had an older TRG21 rear stock section in hand and I could tell no difference to the TRG22, but I have not...

    Chassis Features

Well, the small details will very much come down to personal preference. I really like KRGs chassis, great ergos, great attention to detail and great overall feel. They are also very helpfull, not that I have had to reach out to them all that often, but when I have, they have gone above and...

Tikka all day every day over Bergara. Drop it into a KRG chassis of your flavour and Bob´s your uncle.

"Best" .308 Win. LR-rifle for max. 5 grant?

But they dont seem to have a direct mount for the Tikka/TRG rifles? All ERA-TAC mounts ive seen are for picatinny rails, and getting a picatinnyrail for the TRG is anoter 100-150€ (at least in Swedish prices).

"Best" .308 Win. LR-rifle for max. 5 grant?

Drop at 1000 meters with Scenar L 175 grain bullets are 13.5 MILs with my TRG22. You dont really need a canted mount when you use modern scopes, most have around 25-28MIL of vertical travel or more as it is, so even with a flat base you will probably have enough elevation on tap. Then you can...

    212 gr eldx

If you can get some, I highly recommend Hodgdon H1000 powder. It has been super easy to work with. Using it with both the 208 grain ELD-M and 212 grain ELD-X.
