If you use eye pro and don't want to lift them to use the eyepiece, consider the TE-17HD 25x LER eyepiece combined with the TSN-EX16 extender. I use that setup with my 883 to get 40x and the long eye relief for use with my eye pro. However it adds to the expense.
Thank you for the replies. There is a vague square effect with a line left and right although the dots are more distinct due to their shape. A reflection would be a fair way of describing as it resembles a circuit board or display matrix. It is a bit more reflective than I would like but maybe...
Could any Leica LRF owners comment on whether the red LED display icons when operating the LRF are bracketed above and below with four red if dim dots over each digit/reticle? I just bought a brand new 2400R and in day light, these red dots are washed out to be invisible but against dark...
I have found repurposing bino rubber objective lens caps a cost effective means of protecting the lens and not as vulnerable to snapping. One drawback is when dangling if the whole ocular rotates on the eyepiece for magnification, then it does too as you rotate it. I use Optricon ones.

At the recent Eurosatory show I went by the stand of KAHLES, the Austrian scope company, to see if anything was new and they a variation of their K312 II that was being unveiled for the first time - the K312i. It moves the parallax adjustment to the top turret to sit below the elevation...
+1 on the aegis echo by smith's which is what I use. But Wilex Saber Advanced using the elasticated tactical strap to replace the arms looks a good option too.
I would say wear for sure, in my case Smith Optics Aegis Echo with RX inserts but there is lots of choice and for low cost compared to health care! Our club insists as your gun or handload maybe fine but the other guys might not be ...
I came across two examples on the S&B stand at DSEI here in the UK showing the two different turret types. RRP is €2340.34 before sales tax, so in the UK with our 20% tax and €-£ conversion, we can expect £2450-2500 (if we don't get gouged). Expected before year end in Europe (allegedly). As...
There is a very informative article at Eye Protection and Shooting Glasses Review - LuckyGunner.com Labs where the guy tests a variety of eye protection. What I had not appreciated was the degradation that apparently occurs from exposure to UV. The up to date APEL list is at...
