Everyone seems to 'poo pooh' ALL 168's as the 168 smk are renown for being bad going through the transonic barrier, it's to do with the overly sharp boat tail, but it doesn't mean ALL 168's are bad, just tarred with the same shitty brush :/ Regards Pete

My buddy has been using it for a while, and has said it's pretty good, his loads worked up last summer are still working through our winter, and summer again, probably about a 30c variance. I'm hoping it's good as I'm about to start using it too Regards Pete

Easy. Just run it through your full length sizing die. If your going down 'one size' ie, to 7-08, then it should be fine to use, if going 'two sizes' ie, 260,then you may have to neck turn, same applies to 243, depending upon how tight the chamber is. You might find the necks too short to start...

Might have been me, I fitted a TRG trigger to my tikka 595. Only mod needed was a swap over of the safety, and a little dremmel work on the trigger blade and guard as the TRG trigger sits lower. Nothing wrong with the std trigger, but as I'm running two TRG's and the tikka, and had a spare...

It's not a 'gun' issue. Brass will wear out, especially when ran hot enough to stamp the ejector void as well as it has done. If that was done on a 'normal' load, then you will soon have a gun issue. Regards Pete

The Tikka 595 is a great action. I had a 308 master sporter, now running (amongst others) a 595 in .222 with a TRG trigger, now THAT is sweet :) Regards Pete
