Just received my MPA Ultra Light Hunter in 6.5 CM and love it. Pairing it with the Vortex Razo HD LHT 4.5 - 22x50 x 30mm and I had planned on the Hawkins ultralight rings but these are sold out everywhere I look. What is now recommended for lightweight robust rings? Appreciate the input.

Looking at the Vortex website it looks like the Vortex employee was right. The new Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 FFP MRAD at 21.7 oz. Looks like it may be a perfect fit for the lightweight hunting rig I want. Anyone gotten the chance to look through it?

I've owned and shot lots of rifles. This is the smoothest and most accurate I have shot. I'm sure other options are of equal quality / equal accuracy as I have never owned other custom / semi custom rifles (unless the Bergara HMR Pro would be considered semi custom... my MPA is levels better...

I was told that Vortex will be releasing a lighter FFP than the Razor around August / September. 3 - 24 and around 22 oz. So about 6 oz lighter than the Razor AMG. So depending on if this comes to fruition may wait on this as my MPA Lite Hunter is still about 20 weeks out.

yes my MPA has been great. Easily my most accurate rifle I've ever shot. I actually ordered a 2nd MPA the Hunter Lite with a folding stock with a shorty 18" also in 6.5CM

honestly no way to know. If it was mine that would bug the crap out of me and I would get it retapped and a proper screw fit

man that sucks. I think you will need to get it rethreaded. I'd expect slight movement that you can't see and the other threads get damaged from recoil and use and the problem gets worse.
