Have you looked at belts like the one linked below? It's not a padded belt, and you won't use MOLLE for it. You wear the velcro belt on your pants/in the belt loops.. The cobra belt just slaps right on outside of the inner belt and it's really thin compared to the padded belts like HSGI Sure...
