Forgive me if Im posting this in the wrong area but it is a stupid question. When measuring barrel length I know its breach to muzzle but I have a brake on, do I include that if so why its not rifled and technically speaking the bullet has exited the barrel when its in the brake.
I don't have the stats in front of me, but I'd guess over 50% of the brakes you'll see at a PRS match will be JEC Customs brakes.
Slightly unscientific test I did , but it just shows how well the brake works.
I have a Miculek brake on it, but still can't see where I'm hitting during matches, even when firing from a rest. This makes it a bit difficult to correct my settings.
Does anyone know of a brake that does a better job of controlling muzzle flip?
Thank you,
Richard
A few months ago, I ran across a great post by jasonk that many of you guys may be familiar with. It had some very interesting info in it, so I asked Rich Emmons (the guy who originally compiled the data) if I could do some analysis on it, try to find patterns, and see if I could find good ways...
