1/10 twist Bbl vs bullet weight .308

i know the typical twist for .308 168gr FGGM is around a 1/11 1/11.25

with the FGGM 168gr .308 what should one expect from a 1/10 twist
surgeon action 20" kreiger bbl any pro's or con's
trying to take this one to 1000 yds

iknow a heavier weight would be better say 190-200gr
but im stocked up on 168 GMM would i suffer too much ill effect ?

or is this twist to far out ???

Shoot it and see, there are lots of guys shooting the 1-10 without issues, even down to 155's.

For 1k though you'll find that many bullets will outperform the 168's.

I shoot 168 AMAX loads out of my 10 twist .308 all the time. Very accurate. Shoot them. You will have no problems as far as twist is concerned.

Actually the twist in your kreiger is too fast for 168's! so send me your 20" surgeon and I'll send you my 20" savage that'll shoot 168's just fine!
