30-06 magazines?

I would like to upgrade my 30-06 rifle with detachable magazines, but I'm not sure which mags work with 30-06. The chassis systems that I've seen like to use AI mags which seem to be limited to 308 and 300 win mag. Am I correct in thinking that the 30-06 would use the 300 win mag magazine with the top bent in to accommodate the smaller OD of the 30-06 case? Is there a better way?

Rumor has It that accurate mag is coming out with a AI compatible '06 mag. I just use the AI 300 mag and bend the feed lips to .405-.412 . These specs come Scott McRee and they work like a charm...

They are on their website now but you have to call them for the price. They did a limited run of them last year, I bought 6 so they do exist.
