Gunsmithing .300 RSAUM in a .308 AICS magazine question??

This may be a completely idiotic question but here goes... Will a .300 RSAUM fit in a .308 AICS (or like) magazine? Only specs I can find are from the J P Enterprises Mor Magazines. It states it will accept the short mag as long as the OAL is 2.810. The standard OAL of the .300 RSAUM is 2.825. Anyone had any luck with this?

Yes, a .300 RSAUM will fit in a .308 AICS mag. I used to do it. sometimes you have to bend out the mag lips so the round will feed correctly, but if you already have the AICS mags it's easy to do.

If you haven't bought mags yet, just buy the Alpha mags designed to work with the SAUM and WSM cartridges.

Alpha Mags or GA Precision. GAP keeps some in stock that work for the SAUM or WSM last time I asked them about it.
