300 win mag loads

First post on here for me. I've been reloading for about 4 months. For the most part I'm reloading 300 win mag for a stock Ruger Precision Rifle 26" barrel. I'm looking for some load recipes for the Berger 230gr hybrid bullet using h1000 powder and hornady new brass. I've loaded some of bergers 210 vld bullets but I wanted to try something heavier for a 1k yard shoot I'm doing soon. Thanks for any help !

Berger manual lists a range of 65.5grs. to 72.9grs. of H1000. That will get you started.

I'm run 212gr ELD-x pills over 77 gr of H1000. They are smoking out of my R700 24" 5R.

* make sure you do a proper work up to this load

Yeah currently I'm getting 2970fps for my 210 bergers with 76.8 grains of h1000. No pressure signs.

Did you get your 230's flying? I love them my 300wm. I run 28" 5R with 74.4gn of H1000 in Norma brass @2830fps. That is past "MAX" so ease up to it.

Oh yeah I did ! My best groups to date. .49 moa at 300 yards. 230 Berger hybrids targets with 72.0g of h1000 in nosler brass .010 off my lands @ 2700fps. My go to load for my ruger precision now.
