So after a long time mindling and fiddling here it is. I do not consider fully developed yet, but we're close.
The basis is a locally developed (I am in Italy!) ar308 dpms, by DR15-custom

follows the recipe:
-billet aluminum upper&lower (dr-15)
-internals: JP SCS 'the hard way' (blue-red spring, 2 tungsted and 1 steel weights); cryptic coating bolt carrier and RCA HP bolt.
- BA 18" RL bull 6.5 creedmoor (soon to be replaced by Keystone Accuracy 20" rifle lenght Krieger 5R plus a new upper wearing a 22" Krieger +" again from KA);
- Timney calvin elite;
- magpul prs gen3
- A419 sidewinder muzzle brake (we can't go suppressed by law)
- A419 RRS universal rail with rugged ridge extreme pod (great bipod!) and RRS clamp;
- SLR .875 AGB
- March FX 5-40x56 with Spuhr Cantilever 20 MOA base;
-furniture: ergo grip, Hoptic USA cheeck rest cover, Aero keymod 12" Handguard

I add the last target pic taken yesterday at 600Y. This lady can do that all day. Thanks for your comments.

Side Charging matched receiver from Detroit Gun Works

Nice job. I know the feeling after buttoning it all up. i would love to know how that brake holds up on a gas gun. Please update.
I have about 500 rounds through it and so far so good w/ the brake. I've removed it twice and cleaned it and both times my zero stayed the same...no POI shift after removal and re-installation. I'd say it's going to hold up great.

Did it ever come loose on its own?
I did as Jon recommends...fire 10-15 rounds then reach up and tighten the collar again. And that's worked great. I admit though, I check that collar every time I set up to shoot but it's been tight.

When I first installed the brake, the universal adapter that screws to the muzzle did come loose on my second or third outing w/ the gun. I applied a very small amount of blue loctite and haven't had an issue since.

That was my only concern. I think I will pick one up. Thanks!

I finally got mine up and running and it shot .513 moa the other day with M118LR. It’s a Mega Maten matched upper and lower, SSA-E, Wilson Combat 18” barrel, SLR handguard and adjustable gas block, Lantac Enhanced BCG and Bilock Dragon Brake, GEMTECH Quicksand, Steiner T5XI 3-15 in Badger mount.

It's nice to see that group from your Wilson Combat barrel.

I just ordered a few new lowers (Aero Precision) and I have an M5E1 enhanced upper with 15" Quantum Mlok handguard. I also ordered a Wilson Combat Ultimate Hunter 22" fluted barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor, Toolcraft BCG, a Larue trigger and Aero LPK.

I just have to figure out my gas system and buffer and I'll have a budget M5 that hopefully shoots little groups like that.

Oh, I'll have a GAP special Bushnell LRHSi 4.5-18x44 on top in a KDG Sidelok QD mount.

Here is the new Battle Arms Development big block receiver set and forend. The fit, finish, attention to design detail, and super light weight must be seen and felt to be fully appreciated. Bartlein 16" 5R 1x10 barrel with KAC intermediate length gas system. JP LMOS bolt carrier with high pressure bolt. LaRue MBT trigger. SLR adjustable gas block. Every titanium part that V-Seven makes for the rifle.

The weight is 7 LB 11 OZ. We could have come in under 7.5 LB by using the MFT stock. The recoil is crazy-light.

I built this lightweight .308 last year. 6 pounds 11.4 ounces without the scope. Has JP drivetrain, titanium muzzle break, Odin rail, aero upper, polymer80 lower. It has about 2000 rounds through it now and no problems with the polymer lower yet. Shoots circles around my scar heavy. Its lighter and it doesn't eat scopes either.

New hunting build, went for light weight. As shown below with scope mount, scope, YHM Nitro 30 can (18 ounces itself), and empty magazine, it weighed in at 9.5 lbs!! I haven't weighed the bare rifle, with no mount, scope, can, and magazine but it should come in under 7lbs.

SLR billet upper/lower
V7 Hyperlight 15" handguard
proof 16" 308 barrel
Luth MBA-4 stock w/ cheek piece
Rubber City titanium BCG
JP SCS H2 buffer/spring
Geissele SD-E
V7 titanium lower parts
SLR titanium adjustable gas block
Geissele Scope Mount
Nightforce NX8

Nice! How do you like the KAC bipod?

It's a good piece of kit. My experience with bipods has been limited to Harris, Atlas and GG&G. Of those three, the GG&G is what I preferred most, but it was a bit hefty and cumbersome to manipulate. The KAC is a cut above the Atlas in terms of features and capability. It sucks to pay what they cost, but I've been very happy with it. Will likely pick up another one sooner or later.

Finally done with this one.

Aero Precision M5 upper
New Frontier Lower
22" Ballistic Advantage Premium 6.5 Creedmoor Barrrel w/ SLR adjustable gas block and Area 419 Hellfire brake
Toolcraft Nickel Boron Bolt Carrier, JP High Pressure Bolt
Harris Bipod w/ADM mount and Podlok
Seekins Ambi Safety Selector
Magpul UBR and JP Silent Captured Spring System
Magpul MIAD grip
Geissele SSP trigger
Eotech Vudu 3-18x50 in 20 MOA Nightforce Ultralight Unimount

Can't wait to see how it shoots.

Guess I'll throw my hat into the ring as well. The is my most recent toy.

Palmetto State Armory Gen2 PA10 Lower with Magpul STR stock, overmolded grip, and Nickel Boron Two Stage Trigger.
Palmetto State Armory Gen2 PA65-6.5 Creedmoor 1:8 SS 20" barrel with Adjustable Gas Block,15" M-Lok Handguard, Gen2 BCG and Charge Handle.
Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44 FFP Mrad scope
Vortex Sport Cantilever 30mm mount w/2" offset
Magpul M-lok Bipod Mount.

At this time, only 50 rounds through it - but so far I'm pleased. Once gas block was adjusted properly, it has cycled perfectly. All three-round 100 yard groups have been .75" and under, with Hornady 143 gr. ELD-X, 147 gr. ELD-M, and 100 gr. ELD-M.

18” PA10 I finally got a Lower for. STR and NiBor 2 stage trigger which actually is pretty niceD8136D6D-262D-4825-9B9E-9E7355681167.jpeg

18” MI Criterion. Wife gave to me as a Christmas present last year. MBT trigger is damn nice. I need to order a few more.

I shot the PA10. It’ll do 1” at 100 with 150gr Deer Season XP. I just wanted to try factory ammo so if I got into a bind with reloading I at least had something available that was easy. Can’t get much simpler than Walmart. Maybe I’ll bloody it tomorrow.

Guess i got a good one.

A new 7 pound, 6 ounce, 16" .308 built around a Craddock Precision 1x10 twist 5R Bartlein barrel. Battle Arms Development BAD762 billet receiver set and 15" RigidRail forend. JP LMOS bolt carrier group with high pressure bolt, all DLC coated. Geissele ambi charging handle. LaRue MBT trigger. SLR adjustable gas block. Lots of V Seven titanium goodness throughout. Tungsten Cerakote.

This is my 6.5 cm
Next level armament upper and lower and dlc coated bolt, ballistic advantage 24” barrel, Luth ar stock, 2 stage trigger, razor hd scope. I’ve made hits out to 1200 yds as of now and it makes consistent 1000 yd hits all day.

New super lightweight big block blaster!!! A 7 pound even dry weight .308 built around a Proof Research 16" CFW barrel with intermediate length gas system, JP LMOS bolt carrier with high pressure bolt, SLR adjustable gas block, and V Seven titanium Fusion brake. All housed inside the new Battle Arms Development billet 7.62 receiver set with matching 15" forend. LaRue MBT trigger, Vltor lower receiver extension, Heavy Buffers recoil spring, and normal H2 buffer round out the innards. All small parts in titanium from V Seven. MFT stock works amazingly well and weighs next to nothing. Great glass in the form of the Kahles K16i, riding in the bulletproof Spuhr SP-3026 mount. Recoil is amazingly light, plus accuracy is quite acceptable, especially considering the rifle's 7 pound weight. Reliability so far 100%.
