Like the title says. I have been getting exceptional accuracy with 168 grain Nosler Custom Competitions and A-max's, but with the varget at 45.5 grains, I am worried that I am pounding on my rifle. Any thoughts?

Let the brass and the accuracy of the rifle tell you. What you see is fact. How you interpret it is the juice!

That might be pushing it. In my gun I haven't tried 168s, but I have tried:

175gr SMK: 45gr was too hot, serious ejector swipes on every piece of brass. 44.2 is what I'd call max. 2580fps

155gr Scenar: 46.5 had swipes on 8/10 pieces of brass, settled on 46gr as a safe load. There are still some shiny spots where the ejector is on some pieces, but lots of factory ammo does this also. 46.2 is about the same but I stay at 46 to be safe. 2750fps.

This was with virgin Winchester brass.

Gas guns really are limited when it comes to max loads.
