Good results accuracy wise here on 2 ARs and 1 bolt gun. Don't have a chrono so can't comment on actual velocity, but book data shows respectable speed.

I use 25.5gr with the Nosler 52CC as my reduced course service rifle load. Velocity is around 3100 fps. 24.6gr was also a good node for me. This is in a 20" barrel, 1-7" twist, and Wylde chamber.

Thnx mate.. looking at hgdgon load on the web looks pretty good..just wanted to se if someone tried it..

25grs worked great behind a 55 vmax in one 16" 1:9 AR and the 26" 1:14 bolt action, the other 16" 1:8 AR liked 23.5 gr. didn't see any pressure in any of the rifles but work up.

The US military load for long jacket 55-grain tracer bullets using IMR 8208M is 25.3 grains (52,000 psi, 3200 fps 15 feet from the muzzle).

24.0gr of 8208 with Sierra 55gr Gameking #1390, Winch brass, shoots excellent groups in my target AR. Has 24" bull barrel... Typically 1/4" - 3/8" at 100 yards.
