Has anyone had a barrel spun up? I saw that Logan at Preferred has that in his options for prefits...He is almost done with it, and its going on a Nucleus I bought after the announcement that was made from ARC..... I have the 140 EOL's and the 156 EOL's. Anyone have any idea where a guy should start?

I would stick w a Barnes for hunting and Flatlines for target. 6.5 cup and core bullets have a thin jacket. I bet you could push a Warner 123 Flatline over 4k FPS.

The barrel is a 7.5 twist 5R 26". Any idea what powder would be great for this? I have RL26, Retumbo, H1000, H4831 & IMR7977 in the slower burn rate. If you think the 123 Warner's are a good match, I might just pick up a 500 box...

I thought that Berger hunting bullets have thicker jackets than their target rounds? If that's the case, then the 156 EOL's may have a chance.....

That is what I was hoping, that is what it is being throated for, the new 156's...

Question please - The neck is .297. How far under that should my loaded round be? I will have to turn it so should it be .002-.003 under or go .005 under?

Watch your RPM. 1-7.5 twist w that much powder behind it will probably eat bullets. I ran the 156 @ 3060 fps from a 1-7 twist w no issues.
Had issues w the 19xxx lot of 147 ELD @ 3100-3190 fps.
