Just found this on an old Anschutz forum post, these Savage 5 round mags (they say 10 round will NOT work, don't know why) work with minor modification, 2 little bumps need to be filed off. You can put your stock mag beside them and see the difference easily. $10 instead of $50

Here's the link to the post.

I haven't personally done this, so YMMV, but it makes sense, as Savage used to be the Annie supplier to the US for years.

I'll order one on my next Brownell's order. May get a 10 rounder too to see what the difference is.

Yes works great.
Nothing to it. 5 min. maybe.
Function better than factory
metal follower also.

The Weatherby 10 rounders for $25 also work for the MPR. I've got two and no modifications were necessary.

Re: 64 MPR -cheap mags

Weatherby's MKXXII (new one) is a Anschutz 64, so those mags are gtg.

I've got two annies (54 and 64) and I run a mix-the two Annie mags that came with them, and a few of the Savage mags.
The best post in the RFC thread is the one that says to hold the two together and you'll see where to file. Index them off the top of the mag, because most will need a little work on the catch area as well as the back side of the top.

Sounds like the Weatherby deal is hard to beat, of course, I bought 3- 10 rnd Annie mags extra when I bought the gun
