Were you finding too much variance in the Dillon powder drop and you are using the CMs to drop each charge, one by one, or was there another / different reason.

You need a ATV3... or ATV4Yes, there's to much inconsistency with the powder drop. That powder device works by volume, not weight. So some powders work pretty good, specifically, small ball powders. And other powders such as stick or extruded are super inconsistent.
I use XBR8208 for my 223 Ackley, and it works great. Its off by .1 of a grain or less whenever there's an error. I can live with that for that particular rifle. Start loading different powders and expecting it to be dead nuts accurate and it won't happen.
So yes, I individually charge every case from powder dispensed by the Chargemasters. Thats why I needed three of them to keep up![]()

V4 is supposed to be remarkably faster than 3. Still don't know if it keeps up.One won't keep up. I tried. Gotta have two at minimum.
By the time you get all the whistles and bells, you're in to them for over $2k. I'm in to my Chargemasters for about $650.
That’s not what he’s saying on the website. He’s saying the V4 will take the same time, 10-15 seconds per charge.V4 is supposed to be remarkably faster than 3. Still don't know if it keeps up.
2 CM's don't keep up with me on a single stage. 3 probably would.
Did you watch the demo live? Adam was dropping 230 gr of powder in less than 6 seconds. It is SIGNIFICANTLY faster. That’s not what he’s saying on the website. He’s saying the V4 will take the same time, 10-15 seconds per charge.

42.7 gr of H4350 in 7 seconds. I'll post a video...The pair I played with were fast, but not that fast.
10 to 15 seconds was the norm on the 6BRA we were loading.
You should probably sell it to me thenThat stuffs jammed into the lands in both my 6gt chambers.
Same here. Shot mediocre at best seated back too. Makes me think they built it for the .190 freebore reamer. That stuffs jammed into the lands in both my 6gt chambers.
Curious if you 2 have the same lot number I have?Same here. Shot mediocre at best seated back too. Makes me think they built it for the .190 freebore reamer.
Bartlein 7.5t chambered by them with .120 reamer
Your headspace sounds wrong or your action is out of spec (I lean toward the former). I would not fire your rifle until you get that figured out.Gents I too have jumped in the 6GT and I'm experiencing a weird issue... So this is a completely new rifle using a Mack Bros stainless action. I'm using the recent batch of Alpha brass and I'm running them up through the 21st Century expander mandrel, although i dont think it is needed (please feel free to chime in). I'm going to be using the the Berger 108s but the issue I'm experiencing is I'm running the new cases through to make sure they cycle and on a few cases the extractor is not grabbing the case to pop out. However if I dry fire I then can extract the case that wouldn't eject on safe. I have not done any measurements on the cases yet but again they are brand new. I haven't cleaned the chamber but that is where I'll start. Any other suggestions?
Did the no/go-gage work?Definitely will check that out. I'm using the PTG go gage and reamer from GAP. Very reputable smith also.
I haven't tried that yet but I can give that a look also.Did the no/go-gage work?
I think most people are running 34+ grains but those are some nice groupsDidn’t have time to setup my V3 to get speed, SD and ES, but for the first time out with this rifle I was blown away. I loaded it 20 thousand off, with 33.2 grains of Varget. These were my results!
I found SW4350 slow and hit pressure quick on 6.5 CM but guys have had success with SW Precision in the gt.I was wondering has anyone tried Shooters world 4350 in their Gt with 115's ?
Thanks , just bought it because can't find any H-4359, then after jumping on it saw it was slower than Aa-4350. Live and learn .I found SW4350 slow and hit pressure quick on 6.5 CM but guys have had success with SW Precision in the gt.

I did find a nice load with 4451 at 37.5 w/ 115 dtac , but that's
I mean there may be a slower FPS node with it. Give it a try. It may be unicorn tears for all we know. Guys are also getting good nodes out of n555 and staball so….Thanks , just bought it because can't find any H-4359, then after jumping on it saw it was slower than Aa-4350. Live and learn .![]()
I am running 32.7 of varget with 110 A-tips and its a hammer of a load. I am trying to run it slower to see more trace and impacts.I think most people are running 34+ grains but those are some nice groups
I have a bunch of pounds of H 4350 so I’m going to find a load for the 109sI am running 32.7 of varget with 110 A-tips and its a hammer of a load. I am trying to run it slower to see more trace and impacts.
I ran 37.6 H4350 with 109s at 3005 fps.I have a bunch of pounds of H 4350 so I’m going to find a load for the 109s

Try Shooters World Longrifle. It is just barely faster than H4350. I used it last year in 6.5 CM with good success. Thanks , just bought it because can't find any H-4359, then after jumping on it saw it was slower than Aa-4350. Live and learn .
Here is what I have at the moment, still need to upgrade itWow impressive I am going to have to mimic that as much as possible
Cup thickness and priming element. BR4 primers are basically 450s. The QA of BR4s is slightly better.Guys a quick noob question, what is the difference between the CCI 400 primers and the BR4 primers?
The 400’s is what I run and it has been good to me . Why would you say that you wouldn’t run them on a gt.?Cup thickness and priming element. BR4 primers are basically 450s. The QA of BR4s is slightly better.
I wouldn't run 400s in GT, personally.
450s have a thicker cup and handle higher pressures. SD/ES can also be lower on 450s, if you can shoot the difference. I run a SD of 4.1 across a 60 shot course with 450s in my GT.The 400’s is what I run and it has been good to me . Why would you say that you wouldn’t run them on a gt.?
