It’s a damn nice scope man. I found it much nicer to look through than the mark 5’s and razor Gen ii’s. It’s up there with kahles for less money lol

The only thing I found is that the eye box is a bit tight no matter the magnification, and the parallax knob is tight. But the parallax itself is pretty forgiving. Mainly set it and forget it past 400yds. The reticle is also nice.

Oh. And they’re pretty heavy lol that was the first thing I noticed when I picked it up from @M4guru. maybe not Gen II heavy, but for being a shorter scope, she’s stout

New arrival to try versus the current Atlas on the 300PRC.

Downside was the box was delivered as you see it and earlier than expected; HH6 intercepted the box and was giving me the evil eye when she "delivered it to me.

I love my accutacs but I prefer the br4 and I think the longer sr5?

I've had 2 accutacs. Liked the BR4 but recently switched to the tbac bipod and absolutely love it

I thought about the SR5, but I couldn't think of a situation when I might need the added length (insert jokes here). If I don't like it, I'll sell it off. ;)

I shoot prone in tall grass quite a bit and never use the pan feature but I prefer the accutacs over the atlas offerings overall

With the advent of having wrench flats on the barrels now, I can see not using a barrel vice. Personally I can't stand that look. When GAP spun up my new manbun barrel, they asked, I told no way. It would have totally ruined the look of a straight contour barrel.

I was RSO'ing at the Ironman Range at Quantico today. I brought the AXMC in 300PRC to test the new Accu-Tac and to see if I got the focus correct on the TriggerCam. I have to say I like the Accu-Tac and it's wider stance as I primarily do prone with the PRC. It seems it jumps less but I'll have more data tomorrow when I'll be shooting at 1,000yds.

I think I got the TC focus down, although the NF's ocular rotates so I had to clamp it down at 25x in preparation for 1,000. Ironman only goes to 450yds and there is some USMC steel in the tree line, which is 475yds, so the magnification for this video is excessive but I think I resolved my bad eyes vs. true focus.

Bonus picture - you never know what will show up at the range - MP-40 clone:

While I was at the range I got an emergency call from the Society for Orphaned British Rifles (pronounced Sober) pleading for help fostering a recent arrival. As you can see, there are clear signs of neglect to include no optic or muzzle brake and no bipod until they could borrow one for the abused rifle campaign photo shoot (and just as Sarah McLachlan was getting ready to produce a tear jerking commercial). I was hesitant at first as Sober is always calling to me, but I finally agreed to spend the time necessary to rehabilitate and mentor this orphan. :ROFLMAO:

Took my 11 year old step son out yesterday to shoot his new “AW” 😂 see if you can spot it in this photo of him banging the plate at 500 with the ASR. I have to say AI, Proof and 6CM with Berger 105 is like a cheat code. You almost can’t miss regardless of the conditions. Winds were back and forth 10-15mph. I don’t think anyone who shot even missed once. ASR is the best gun I’ve ever owned.

Got him his first gun for his birthday. Crickett Precision rifle in the AI thumbhole style stock. He went to town with it. He got a hit at 300 with it in 22LR😂 he said he shot a “rainbow”… he’s learning quick!

TriggerCam on a NF ATACR at 25x at 1,000yds. AXMC in 300PRC shooting a 2/3rds IPSC using a factory Hornady 225gr ELDM. I didn't trust AB solution and dialed down 0.2mils, which was the 1st hit low right you can see when the plate recoils from the 2nd hit. My fault on the elevation call as it was a good 40 degrees colder today.

If you look at a larger version of the video on YT, just as it starts you can see (left side of video) a guy breaking a 4" clay on the back berm at 1,035yds with his 338L.

I'll dial it back to 15-20x the next range session so I can get some good trace videos.

Asked my shooting buddy to get an action shot of me and of course, he caught the guy photobombing us with his arse.
