Love the look of that short barrel and suppressor. What is the weight with a short barrel in that configuration? I assume you have no weights attached.
I have the 2 pound weight installed. Didn’t put it on the scale to check. But it balanced right where I have the tripod attached. Almost the exact same spot as my 26” barrel with the break installed.Love the look of that short barrel and suppressor. What is the weight with a short barrel in that configuration? Got any pics man?I shoot a 2 day this weekend and it was soooo much better. Just handling it and getting it moved around and manipulated was noticeably improved. I'm not that great of a shooter but I felt it was a lot more stable in positions and I was able to handle the recoil better (shooting 308 this weekend) to see my impacts. I've got guys that will be getting on your list if you do another run.
I plan to order a heavy contour 6 creed down the road, I’ve got a proof 6 creed that needs to be shot out first.Time to beef up your barrel.
Nice, man! Looks badass.Man the ergonomics on this thing is so much better than stock. Fell in love with this gun all over again.
Shoot, it should have a lot more than that.Shouldn’t this thread have 40 pictures by now...
What do ya think are the differences between the AO chassis and the MPA? Overall, does the MPA provide the same form/function while being half the cost, comparatively? Not doggin the AO, I want the chassis and butt stock myself, but pushing 2 grand makes me curious about the viability of the MPA...I dry fitted mine. Still waiting on the AR grip conversion from Gtec to complete it. But here are some pics.

Trying to be as unbiased as possible...if you like the MPA grip w/integrated thumb rest, the MPA chassis is by far the better choice. Even the AO chassis with the bolt-on AR grip tang won't work well with the MPA grip. However, if you like the Ergo grip or other similar AR grips, then that might be an option (although at an additional $400 cost). What do ya think are the differences between the AO chassis and the MPA? Scott,Sam, Gentlemen,
My apologies, after posting this query I realized it was a little rude to ask about the MPA in this thread.
It’s difficult to get understanding when all you have to go on are pictures, but the information about any product can be lacking, good or bad. MPA/AI combined looks good, but the incompleteness is troubling. AO chassis’s check all of the boxes and the AX stock is a great addition. Have to ponder the price point and decide if both chassis and stock are viable for me. Sam, I’m on your list for another run of chassis, if that tells ya anything... HA!
Sorry for being rude, that was not my intention,
Scott
i love the little "CHODE" at the end of the barrel. looks awesome!
No plans for an AXMC chassis. I think the market would really small, since most users don’t shoot MC’s in PRS style comps, which is what the chassis is geared towards.Looks great!
Any plans for a AXMC version?
Thanks!
Sucks!!! Do you have a suppressor...they can’t see what they can’t hear haha
Ya I have Suppressors’s and said that when I got there pissed I didn’t bring one along.Sucks!!! Do you have a suppressor...they can’t see what they can’t hear haha
Makes sense - I think right now people do not shoot AIs in PRS for reasons of being top-heavy, etc, and Obsession is precisely geared towards fixing that - and I think you are making the same point. In addition, the MC/PSR/SR were disadvantaged there due to the mag insert being sometimes finicky - but with the new mags, this is pretty much fixed. No plans for an AXMC chassis. heres a c.h.o.d.e. on a proof bull barrel.Just enough to take the edge off a 308. You should see the muzzle brake i have for it....

Always just the tip.Just the tip...
i love that little chode. i've used them in the past and they work great! in fact, my son has one on his little 308 at the moment. the brake looks like the doctor had a stroke mid-circumcision and the brake ended up with a dick that's somewhere between an ant-eater and a german army helmet hahahaJust enough to take the edge off a 308. this sign appears to be more of a "guideline" than a actual "rule"....... like the stop signs that have the white border around the edges being optional after 9pm....
Looks great! Probably a little overpowered for a 22 match though hahaView attachment 7434059
Had a nrl22 match today. Had to bring the AI out for its first time with the AO chassis. Everyone loved it. Including myself. With the area419 brake and the new chassis it has basically zero recoil with my 6.5cm barrel.
Nah. Made the win easy. lol.Looks great! Probably a little overpowered for a 22 match though haha
Thanks bud. Yeah I had a good day against a stacked field. Our club match in WI is a PRS regional series and regularly draws 100-120 shooters for monthly 1-day matches. I’ve never shot 96% before, but I hope to do it again real soon haha.I would like to take this time to announce the first match win with the AO chassis.
@samb300 skull dragged the entire field of shooters at his club macth finale yesterday, only dropping 4 points all day. Also taking 3rd in the seasons overall points. Well done, sir.
