Wondering if AICS requires special action bolts to screw down action to the chassis or can you use factory remington action screws to tiighten the action down on an AICS 1.5 or 2.0????....Any help is greatly appreciated....Also..I hear you dont have to bed an AICS chassis...just drop it right in. Is this correct?

Re: AICS ACTION SCREW QUESTION AND ANOTHER QUESTION

I am not a gunsmith, but FWIW, I just screw the action down as tight as I can (of course you don't want to strip the threadings on the screws by overtightened them). I don't bed mine. Shoot just fine. My friend also did the same thing and it worked out just fine.

Re: AICS ACTION SCREW QUESTION AND ANOTHER QUESTION

AICS stocks come with their own screws, and the recommended torque for the screws is 53 in/lbs IIRC.
