I Thought this was pretty interesting when I saw it .
The shadowbox framed picture belongs to a 90 year old woman who herself did missionary work with Indian tribes of Alaska & N. Canada . The Pic. is her 2nd husband (2nd of 3) & all are long gone . Talking to her she had a pretty interesting life herself as a younger woman . She still looks pretty tough herself @ 90 years old & gone through 3 husband .

So I snapped a quick Pic. of it & thought I would share it, as it appears to be of a Alaska 'old school' Territorial LE \ Pre-1959 Statehood .

The man in the picture and his wife Murial were friends of mine. I used to have breakfast with them once a week when they lived in rogue river. They were both incredible people, and she still is. Most people new him as big Pete, and he had quite a reputation in alaska. When I new him he was the nicest man you could ever meet, but if you were running from the law in his territory, he was the last person you would want to meet.

Funny Small world & my friend you are a gem to accidentally find on the site .
She keeps his personal items of him framed and in the living area . I have known her for a few years when she was living across the street from me here and I see Murial every coupe weeks & take her out to lunch also . She's 91 now and talks about Pete all the time and there time together . I am pretty sure that he was her favorite husband the way she talks about him & there time together .
