The UWC event at the center of this case had been an open-attendance event where anyone could just show up and take a seat. There could have been a very real chance that another Antifa scumbag who harbors fantasies of being a martyr had been IN the room among the attendees, with a can of accelerant and matches in his backpack. Seeing his cohort outside being thwarted and busted, he simply stayed under the radar and slipped away undetected. Now, some might call this being "paranoid", but it is called wargaming. The best and most effective form of defense is foresight. We live in a society where murderous extremists dwell right among us. Extremists who do not even regard their own lives as long as they manage to inflict death and carnage wholesale. It is not just Muslim fanatics who are capable of this. Left wingers have been shown to be just as willing and ready to use overwhelming violence as ISIS, Al Qaida and other much more infamous terrorist groups.
The reaction that this piece of shit with the chain received is absolutely appropriate and well done, although it could have been far stronger and much more brutal, in order to deter future attempts at such stunts.
The next one who wants his 15 seconds of fame should be terminated with extreme prejudice.

While that is true, in today's information world, hiding is much harder from those who have nothing to lose.
