Re: Armalite AR10-T, Nightforce F1

nice......if you have not already.....junk the gorilla springs and fire control components and replace with yellow 3.5lb springs and JP fire control group....w/high speed low mass hammer and adjustable trigger.......

it will cut you groups in half ....or better.....

my bet that lash-up you posted weighs in at 18 pounds......am i correct ?

Re: Armalite AR10-T, Nightforce F1

Thanks. I cut the groups in third (resulting in this) by improving my trigger control. so you may be right.

The trigger is HEEEAAVVY, but crisp. Just a factory two stage tactical. I haven't tried swapping the spring position yet, or honing/polishing per tech notes. That's next.

What are gorilla springs?

Yeah, 17-18 lbs. !

Re: Armalite AR10-T, Nightforce F1

gorilla springs are the original stock springs for the trigger and hammer......they are basicly junk that all serious shooters pitch before they even bust a cap......

two stage triggers suck....as a matter of fact......some that are tuned up doing a tweeked bolt gun trigger will unknowingly make a two stage burp several rounds with one pull......it happens all the time when some rock it sexy....it happened several times this past weekend at tiger valley
