Gunsmithing Badger and surgeon pillar differences.

Any one know if the surgeon and badger pillars are different lengths/diameters? I tried searching but found nothing. I'm having stocdoc modify my A-5 to run the surgeon DBM and would just like to get a definitive answer. Stock was pillar bedded for the badger, would the old pillars need to be removed. Sorry if the question has been asked, but I did search.

Your front pillar will need to be shorter. Surgeon has a raised boss on the front of the bottom metal that the pillar sits on

You will need to cut .060 off the front pillar
