I inadvertently grabbed a box of small rifle primers and then proceeded to prime 100 9 mm cases. Worse yet, they were mixed with about 500 other already (and correctly) primed 9mm. Do I need to try and sort them out? Not sure I can tell the difference by inspection. I will accept any flaming about this careless act, but I also need constructive advice in how to deal with this.

If your load is/was not real hot pressure wise just shoot them. I quit buying pistol primers long ago, and use rifle primers in everything. If you switch to rifle over pistol just make sure you have enough spring (hammer or otherwise) to fire them.

^^ This, You're fine, if you're worried back off your charge by 1/10th or two of a grain and you'll be just fine.

Thanks all for the info. I am relieved. I use an RCBS hand primer and I pay fairly close attention to seating depth - I think i have a fairly good feel for adequate primer seating with that - so hopefully no problem there. Thanks again for the assurance.
