Rifle Scopes BSA 36x44 target scope with 5in sunshade

Guys I picked up a cheap BSA 36x44 target scope for my rem 40x 22 to get her shootin due to this close to Xmas 2 kids birthdays wife's b day THEN Xmas I was tapped out for z hi dollar scope . Got it all mounted up look mean optics font look that bad mind you it will be replaced later with poss a night force or unertl 16 but are these scopes really that bad mounted on a very heavy 22??? Thamks in advance for advice
