Kicking Ass Somewhere
Me thinks the shit show has begun and the Constitution is now a pawn between the Repubs and Dems to grab more power, further subjugate the population, and relieve us of our god given rights.

There is no chess,

The courts are completely gone now

There is no Justice

The functions of our government have been weaponized against us, the citizen, and our founding declarations and documents

We are the number one enemy of our government in their eyes, we must be disarmed at all costs

Our government has become a monster that is an existential threat to the Republic

The government has ceased to serve its limited Constitutional purpose

The States must defang the Government through Article 5 or there will be a civil war soon

I hope I am wrong but I dont think so.

No one is starving

Health care is free

Food is free

Most people couldn't give a shit what .gov does

We the anointed know better

Until people get hungry and get shot in the streets til it pisses them off enough to do something this will just keep evolving

We ain't there yet.

Ya'll got enough ammo. Buy food.

Move to the country and make friends.

My guns are like a fire extinguisher. I hope I never have to use it but it's there if I need it.

Without ammunition, your rifle is just another club.

Also remember that during the revolutionary war only about 18.5% of the population ever served in the Continental Army. The most that could ever be mustered into the field at one time was about 48,000 or about 3.8% of those colonists that weren't slaves.

Most of the civilian population were a bunch of Torys. If you were a rebel then, you could expect the majority of your neighbors to be loyal to King George III.

They were loyal until His Majesty's troops came to stay in your house, have their way with your daughters and take your livestock. Then it was a different matter altogether.

I say all this because human nature is the one constant in an ever changing world. People talk tough but until the SHTF it's all talk.

Two words --- Gray Man.

The constitution took the biggest hit after the last civil war. The bullshit narrative of slavery has been a cover for the states lost powers over the federal government. I laugh at the fools that say that the south lost the war. The republic was the biggest loser to a federal government that has become drunk with power. It has bankrupted the republic with handouts to foreign governments and the lazy in our own country.
The media elites are complicit and should be punished for their role. But I don't want to write a book. So that's another Topic

Imagining a SHTF situation..... I bet you could live like a king if all you had was a decent size stockpile of antibiotics and cigarettes.....

If that's all you have, somebody will be taking it from you in short order.
You'll need lots of guns, bullets and armour to defend it along with several friends.

The inmates get the keys in a few weeks.

What you are seeing now will become commonplace. Nothing gets done and Trump loses in 2020. What little support he has, gets killed when he makes more bad decisions and give-aways to the extreme left including as many of our Constitutional rights as possible.

It is like a Machiavellian play.

It is going to be an interesting last chapter of my life.

BUY MORE AMMO AND PARTS

I lived in Ohio, near Amish country, when Y2K was happening. My brother, Marine, was in my basement and came up saying, “you don’t smoke, you don’t drink cheap vodka, and you hate cheap coffee. Yet there’s a rack of each downstairs?”

To which I replied,”The Amish aren’t stockpiling that shit. It’s trading fodder for day 30 or so.”

Of course, I already had a generator and thousands and thousands of rounds of ammo, and enough food for 6 months in the house, and a swimming pool full of water.

Now, almost the same situation, but I’m buying more ammo.

I live in the country and I like it that way. Alone and quiet.... my food lives in the pasture on the hoof, I can see 1 1/2 miles in 3 directions. .and a cupola on top of a 50 ft tall barn. P.s and a chipper and farm equipment.

They're saying that if they had been allowed to write what they wanted in that heavily edited report, people would be in a panic right now. They're saying we have ten years. That's not a typo, just 10 years before things get really bad. Imagine 120 degree summers in the southern states, and the corn belt turning into a dust bowl, FOREVER..

Other well respected researchers and scientists are predicting the next ice age will hit, fairly soon and well before the next warming cycle.
I'm all for a good hard long ice age, it will get rid of a lot of the chaff of humanity.

The part about "into a dust bowl, FOREVER" is kind of telling, means they are out to just say whatever they think will scare you. The corn belt is probably for sure going to be buried under a glacier sometime in the next 10,000 years to 20,000 at the most if Earth keeps up the way it has been for like actually forever.

Actually folks, I think all the hoopla over gun control and various other hotbed social/political issues is all going to be irrelevant soon.

I participate in another forum where professional scientists, biologists, chemists, geologists, and astronomers talk. (I'm retired)
These aren't backyard amateurs, these are folks who work with some of the biggest telescopes in the world, guys who work at NASA, and one of them even helped write the environmental report that was handed to congress a few weeks ago.

There's no politics or social talk, no democrats or republicans, no gun grabbers or 2nd supporters, just science and discussions of data.

So ya, +1 on the buy more ammo thing, I'd suggest buying some rice and other grains as well.
Do you ever step back and think about what you type and say?

Those who don't understand science just don't understand science. It can't be fixed.

Doesn't matter what you or I think anyhow, its not going to change anything.

I've been around enough over educated pompous morons to know what to think of most of them.

And your idiot buddies will make sure to report whatever keeps the checks flowing. All those that made up and falsified "global warming " data should be executed.

I do. They have a sale on 5.56 right now where you mail in a rebate for 5 cents per round. I just bought a 1000 round box and will be buying another shortly.
Wife just picked me up another 2200 rounds of 22LR from Meijers as well. She said she saw the sale and calculated each round at 4.5 cents so she bought a bunch. I love my wife!
I hear if you save a couple of box tops from your Hot Pockets they will give you an additional discount.

It's not how much ammo you have. Sure, you need ammo, but if you're some fat neckbeard with 50k rounds sitting around, I'm just going to wreck you and take your 50k rounds.

People need to be less bolt gunning and more CQB/carbine drills; if people need an intro to this, just let me know. Also, people need to get into shape and be able to fire and maneuver. Once you have this down, find 2-3 friends that have their basics together and SUT it up; comms, break contact, etc.

Now do it at night.

More ammo is always good but not the answer, if you don't organize your a deadman walking.Anyways nothing will happen until they confiscate your guns and start abusing you with their power and rules.Only then if there is any American spirit left will rebels mount a resistance , sad but true.Disarming you with slow and steady gun control is the answer because it avoids confrontation in the end.Theres about 535 people in charge of pushing gun control, which apparently 100,000,000 gun owners cower under. Founding Fathers would say 100,000,000 pussies who don't deserve any rights.

All this shit makes me laugh or cry a bit. Without comms and some sort of plan, guns arn’t shit.

Because today we arn’t an off the grid culture like Afghanistan nor willing to live in our own shit and filth. Power the mass down and we are screwed. We’ll be to occupied holding off the meth heads, other freaked unprepared citizens and other shits, we would not have the ability to take on anything else, much less the US mil turned on it’s people

They said ten years, ten years ago.

Go sell crazy socialist somewhere else. We are full up here.

Scientists are some of the stupidest smart people I’ve ever met. Their hubris is amazing.

So by your own statement these individuals with held the whole truth because they want to keep thier paychecks coming in. Seems to me if it was truely an immenet threat to our exisrense money wouldnt matter much. Ive been around long enough to remember the coming ice age in the 70`s, global warming in the 90`s. 15 years back Al gore telling us all the science was in and we had 10 years before we were under water. I have heard from NOAH folks off the record quite a different story.

I was around 10 years ago, and 20 years ago, and was paying attention... No one I'm aware of said anything about 10 years back then, maybe some doomsday quack, but it wasn't the consensus.

The consensus back then was 100 years per most, some thought 50, but there was no agreement on anything close to 10 years. The scientist were wrong, they over estimated by about 80 years on most accounts. Their estimates did not take into account that it would speed up so drastically.

I said my peace, doesn't matter if anyone believes it or not as it no longer makes any difference. I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion as its no longer relevant.

But mark my words, all the deniers will be changing their tune.. in 10 years, it will be so obvious your daily choices will be based on it.

17 of the 18 hottest years on record have occurred in the last 20 years.

Here's something funny to consider, this has to do with how irrationally people see this issue: Up in the postings above, we have what amounts to accusations of falsified information by corrupt government funded scientists. The general idea with these accusations is that its a money scam and that someone is getting rich off it. I think the popular propaganda punching bag is Al Gore.

And yet, I had just stated in very clear and unambiguous terms that the government actually edited the report to make the science less alarming. They couldn't fudge the numbers because that would be clear fraud, so they changed the language because that's far more subjective and they know that the vast majority of people don't know how to read the numbers or understand them. (People would never go to casino's or play lotto if they did)

I hope I don't have to spell out the irony for anyone.

So ya, once again, +1 on buy more ammo.

Consensus means squat. Science was not built on consensus.

If you have a theory that all swans are white, you don’t go out and count all the whites want, you look for the black one.

Modern climatologists only go out and count the white swans. Then tell us how buying carbon credits and stopping industrial growth is supposed to save the planet, they tell us this from their seventh house or private jet while flying around selling snake oil to the retarded.

Anti capitalists can take a flying fuck into a swimming pool full of toasters.

Al Gore? And his video? They keep saying 10 years.

Puleeeeze......

Here is the progression of the deniers:
1970's No global warming
1980's Global warming data not clear
1990's Global warming data still not clear
2000's Global warming clear but cause not clear
2010's Global warming clear, cause is clear, not as bad as claimed.
2015 Cause is clear, how bad still unclear

And in 2020's I predict: Oh crap, we were wrong. No one admit it though, blame someone else. Maybe we can blame Obama?

This strategy brought to you by the Koch Brothers. Funding the climate deniers for three decades.

Here's an excellent book to read.. it details who and how just a handful of corrupt scientists obscure the truth, from tobacco causing cancer (anyone remember that? because I do), to the ozone hole, DDT, acid rain and global warming. Alarmingly, its the same handful of scientists in each controversy. And the book is painfully detailed. These handful of scientists accepted money to fuel doubt and controversy their entire carriers and a single PR Firm to create strategies to that end.

Kock brothers????

Lmfao!!!!!!!!!

Guess those folks never been to gila bend Az, damn sure I have cranked a wrench
in 120 degree heat, more on the tarmac for the USAF. Good chow hall.

Young folks can survive that no problem, our troops in the mid east do it.

If your friends do something useful, like work on temp stable powder research,
Maybe thier lives wouldn't be a waste of taxpayer money.

Really? What scientist? What exactly does a telescope have to do with climate change? Unless you are doing some solar astronomy and have figured out the sun is getting slightly bigger and hotter then I don’t see what the fuck a telescope has to do with anything.

Oh and some gent named Joe Bastardi, a pretty well know meteorologist, would tend to disagree with the scientist you are referring to. See I gave you a name, let’s hear who these scientist are.

Your right, if it is true everyone would have to basically add no carbon footprint. No matter how much America does it wouldn’t make a dent on the global scale. What it would do is let everyone else get ahead economically, at our expense. If it’s true and it doesn’t matter then why the hell are they trying to get everyone to believe this shit. If I were them, I’d quit my job, take my savings and do whatever the fuck I wanted to for the next 10 years. Travel, go to burning man, sail among icebergs, hunt some grizzle bears, jab a few hookers, whatever. I wouldn’t be wasting what time I had left trying to convince people of changing something that can’t be changed.

Good point. I wanna see them tie one on for ten years.

To our resident “friend of non political scientists”
I understand science more than you think. I just tire of the hubris and condescension.

It’s hyperbole to keep grant money flowing.

For commies hating capitalism and industry, they sure love taxes from it.

Now go be arrogant and stupid somewhere else.

Pretty sure babbles got the science mixed up with that Matthew McConaughey movie “interstellar”

Entertaining movie
