So we keep referring to liberals, socialists, democratic socialists, Progressives, leftists, etc...

But the reality is that they all fall under a pretty classic rubric: Communists.

How about we just start calling a spade a spade... all these folks are communists. We may have ended the cold war against the USSR (when they failed!) and moved to, in all honesty, a National Socialist economy (Yes, Putin is a Nazi... in practice.)

So how about we just adopt the term Communist or Commie when we talk about these idiots. Because the USSR enemy may have gone away and the Communist rot is now one growing within.

Let's get with the program here... and stop whitewashing what these idiots are. They are communists. Whether Antifa, liberal, progressive... whatever.

Yes and no.

On one hand, a commie is a commie. Joe McCarthy taught me that. Oh, wiat...

But on the other hand, I know a lot of people, who are the farthest thing from communists, upstanding Americans, but feel a responsibility to their fellow man. Some Jew carpenter talked about that. If you lump those in with the commies youve done a dis service. Hell, I feel a considerable amount of that compassion and responsibility. The difference is that I think it needs to be done through the church(s), and other social organizations, and not mandated by the gub'mint nor contrary to its laws (unless those laws are commie or something).

The founding fathers spoke that there may be times we must stand against an unjust gubmint. They did. Sometimes there is a price for practicing virtue. remember what the Romans did to those who wouldnt forsake their faith. If your not willing ot pay it then stay home but dont whine when you get spanked.

But if we are going to be lumped together as Nazi's... and worse (is there worse?) should we really be accepting the Communists warm, huggy, watered-down descriptions of themselves??? Because, well... that gets Orwellian. Newspeak... et al.

Your comment is right on... but at what point do we have to say "they have many guises... but the reality is that they are Communists."

I'm all for helping the downtrodden... it's part of being human. But when does the sentiment get hijacked? And turned into Totalitarianism. Which is what the Commies want. Even if they are too stupid to know that it's what they want?

I will have to dig it out and take a picture... but I have a T-shirt I bought... somewhere c. late 1980's....

Was called "Russian World Tour" and it had dates of every invasion and intervention... set up like some kind of U2 Bono-ass-pirate tourT-shirt. I still have it. I wore it. I was proud to wear it.

Totally wrong. You err both in motive and action. Communists by definition seek to create equality by force. The closest that carpenter came to that was saying we are all sinners, we will all be judged, and those who believe in Him would escape that judgement. Compulsion never enters into it, period. That’s equality of a sort, but not in fact. Jesus said motive is the only thing that matters. A communist beilives outcomes are all that matter.

Nothing could be further from Christianity than communism, which is why it’s destruction is always the first order of business.

You, and Sirh, are correct, there is a fine line between 'service' and 'subversion'.

I also agree about the mayhem caused by religion...but following the Truth does not have to be organized religion which you all know I have advised against from the beginning. I see a man hungry, I give him a fish. Hungry tomorrow? a fish. Hungry again, a fishing pole. Then he learns to fish and I dont have to give him one, or if he's too lazy to fish then he can starve. There are always limits.

If our way is really 'better' then we should find a way to out 'think' them rather than out 'bomb' them. Regan out 'spent' them but there are better ways I think.

I am not name calling, I have nothing at all to say to them, the time for talking ended about 1921, the only accommodation freedom, liberty and the Constitutional American way can have with these people is a 6 foot hole in the ground. Understanding a position is the first step in creating an argument to why that position is wrong. There is no play screaming at people saying "You're wrong, you're wrong" without giving a reason why. I see that you're older and have more life experience and possibly dealth with communism first hand. I'm young and I'm still learning how the world works. Now in the light of Venezuela massacring their citizens, Cuba's communistic dictatorship leaving thousands of Cubans to starve and China's human rights violations against their own people, you and I can agree that communism has harmed more than it has given. What I will NOT stand for is you calling me a communist sympathizer just because I ask a couple questions. I will NOT stand for people who are vying for the chance for mass violence like you proposed when you stated "Not even, just killing them. Nothing else." and saying the global nuclear war is more favorable than discussion. The people who lead communist parties, communist revolutions, and communist governments have a lot to answer for but the people who they rule over are innocent.
