question for you experienced casters. intstead of traditional lubing or the lee alox, not a fan, I see some casters are now "painting" the lead bullets with epoxy paint or powder coating and then baking. then sizing. has anyone done this on here. the cool factor or making colored bullets in exotic colors is there but it could be a bit of a time/money saver. opinions/ experience? its been said tht the coating allows faster speeds aswell with NO leading.

It is not BS, it's the cat's ass. Friend of mine is having some real success with this and the coating is tougher than copper plated bullets. The coating passes all crush tests and is slick stuff. I have bullets and powder coat, waiting to find a cheap oven. I am an all or nothing kind of guy. I don't plan to just fart around with it I plan to be doing 1000 at a time asap. I will be using the Piglet method, using a cement mixer and tumbling the stuff on and then baking. Google the Piglet method. There is a fair amount of entertainment factor in the threads discussing Piglet. Seems some of the well known coating soup sellers are shiting green squealing worms over some of the stuff that piglet has been freely educating us with.
Good luck, yes it works.

ok so I have absolutely ZERO experience with powder coating. is it messy? smell like shit....alox? can it be handled right after? you say tumbled, so you can tumble the bullets in Powder coating and then bake em?

Like I said. Google "piglet method" there are several variations and guys are finding new and better ways to do it by the hour. It involves using powder coat, acetone, and a little experimentation till you get it right. I couldn't posssibly recreate all the info that you can find if you will simply use Google. The CastBoolit site is where you will find most of your info.
