So Geissele recommends using Electric Contact cleaner on their triggers then using compressed air to blow excess off following this with clp. My question while probably dumb as hell is this, I can only find Quick Dry Electronic Contact Cleaner (QRC brand) Is there any difference in this and other Contact cleaners? Just want to make sure I don't screw up and expensive ass trigger or the finish on my DD V5. I know I'm probably over thinking this way to much but, you guys on here have some major knowledge and I'm here to learn.

You are fine, How dirty are we getting this trigger? I would simply add lube to contact points, excess may weep out the pin holes. Maybe once a year, pop out the FCG, rinse with x spray and re lube. If running suppressed and a lot of rounds, do the same

The contact cleaner is a low residue solvent, unlike brake cleaner which leaves residue and strips all oils.

I just put a drop or two of thin oil on the contact points after every match. Use one of those long straws that come with most lubricants to get the oil exactly where you want it. Easy to do with the AR pattern rifle.

Bolts get heavier oil. I wipe the bolt and firing pin after each session and reapply lube. Easy to do.

It is fairly difficult to damage metal parts with petroleum lubricants. Enjoy your rifles and don’t worry so much

One of the benefits of using the CRC Quick Dry Electronic Contact Cleaner is that is plastic safe. So you don't have to worry about getting in the pistol grip.

Regarded as the good stuff for electronics - haven’t used it on anything gun related so YOYO…

If you're worried about finishes and plastic parts, just use soap and water, if you have access to compressed air. Honestly, I do use copper and carbon solvents on my barrel and bolt, but everything else pretty much gets Dawn dish detergent and water. It makes pretty short work of a very dirty rifle.
