Tell me why the establishment is united in their hatred against Trump but DeSantis, mostly, gets a pass. When he gets the the same vitriolic hatred leveled at him I may start to pay attention. Am I the only one a little suspicious? Regardless………nobody is voting their way out of this mess.
when and if he announces his intention to run, the flood gates from the left will open with historic attacks.

First off I agree - we cannot vote our Way out of this mess. We got two Parties/two Candidates and both of them end up working for the same Global Oligarchy.

Have you watched Trump present himself and his ideas and then watched DeSantis do the same? Trumps a prick - DeSantis is a professional. There are millions of US swing and Independent voters. As for me I'm a registered Republican since 1975 and if they want a vote from me they'll have to give me a candidate that can articulate and deliver. Trump is a loser with a big, lying mouth. Go away now.

    This just in:
You can tell a politician is lying with these three tests.

    1) His (or her) lips are moving
    2) There is sound coming out while the lips are moving
    3) It is a day that ends in the letter 'y'

So, I don't think Trump should trash DeSantis who managed to stay elected by doing stuff. What Trump did was support banning the bump stock. (Side step. After a year and a half, the FBI officially closed the Phillip Paddock investigation with no resolution. So, there is a cover up or they are idiots. The latter would explain a lot. LE might not be all that and a bag of chips. We still do not have answers about JonBenet Ramsey and that was a little girl killed in her own home with limited access to people. But I digress...)

DeSantis can handle this easily. Trump also crapped on Sen. Cruz who later supported him.

I'll agree to that...Trump's a prick, DeSantis a professional. The WORST thing that could happen would be the two vie off in 2024 in primary and Trump lose to DeSantis. Then Trump's going to go 3rd party (not the kind you suggest here I'm sure) and that's going to insure another marxist regime...then it's game, set and match. Right now, we're entering the 5th set, and for all accounts it's Five-all in that fifth set.

Lol. You lack self awareness. Your gushing over “gun rights” that come with mandatory permits (bc why wouldn’t we have permits it’s a reasonable compromise and keeps us safe) point to a person who has been conditioned to believe that rights come from the government. You’re now at a place where not only do you not have a problem asking the govt for permission to have a gun, you actually feel gratitude toward them when they let you have one.

I would love to respond, but it is a public forum and some things are better not said out loud. I can tell you, Europe generally has a different view on guns.

The whole issue of gun rights as a fundamental right did not exist here, unfortunately. Basically, the government tells you what you can get and what not. Not even Americans have the right to own any gun they want. That's the reason i don't see high explosive rounds or depleted uranium bullets in the hands of US civilians. Or an even better example, why don't I see javelin anti tank weapons owned by law abiding US citizens? The reason, your government decides what you can own. The second Amendment basically says you have the right. But in reality, you are restricted. I repeat, the reason you can't own anti tank missiles. Do you agree?

So i think gun rights should apply everywhere and yes all good citizen should be allowed to own what they want. The point is how to separate the good from the bad before a supposed law abiding person becomes a criminal... I think you can't argue with that.

Think of two different types of people. One guy gets the gun legally on his 18th birthday and uses it for legal purpose. Hunting, self defense, sports etc.

The other 18 year old guy gets the gun on the same way. But he decides to have a mass shooting at his school. These fucking rampage shootings at schools are one of the major reasons why people are anti-gun. There is a NEEED to separate good people from bad/evil people before they can get a gun. And that's where it gets very complicated.
Banning items like AR's is the wrong way to get rid of the problem.

I will agree with you that people have only privileges extended to them by those most willing to commit violence to stay in power. Rights do not exist in the USA or anywhere else in the world.

Most governments are more or less elected by the people... And in the end, the government decides. I agree that the laws in the US are more pro gun than a Europe. But the people who think haha Europeans always need a permit and US citizens can get anything they want without a permit... those people are wrong.

    @Precision Underground
Even Americans need a permit for some things and some things they can't get at all. The second amendment said "Arms" so that should include everything. But the reality, you don't get everything. No matter if USA or Europe the government decides how far gun rights go and where the right stops. Who sees that differently has probably not noticed that law-abiding citizens can not get depleted uranium bullets or anti tank weapons. This means your government clearly shows you where your gun rights ends.

    @UKDslayer
It does matter.... why do you think so?
Please never give up a fight.

A smart man doesn't make an announcement before the midterms that he's going to make a big announcement.
And only a stupid man who has already been thrown out of office once, says after the lost elections that he will run for office again.

Trump might want to take a look at the polling data. It doesn't matter if it's left-wing or conservative media. On average, over 60% of people favor DeSantis.

By the way, has there ever been a case in US history where a president is voted out of office after his first term and then 4 years later manages to get back into the white house???

The problem is if Trump, and Desantis both run.......only one will be the anointed one, and have the party's backing..........if it is Desantis, Trump will run as an independent, and the Republicans will once again go down in flames...........Trump/Desantis would be a win in 2024.............

Yeah, divide the party and it's gonna be Gavin Newsom 2024. Agreed that if Trump and Desantis ran together, that's if Trumps ego could stay out of the way then they would probably sweep up.

The GOP just voted to put mcconnel and mcarthy as their leaders. They played the covid game. They vote to send billions to Ukraine to enrich themselves. They were in on the election fraud. Think about what you are rooting for. Its bad.

I didn’t think you were a fan. I was just pointing out that the rest of the GOP put these guys front and center. The republicans do not represent the people that vote for them so why do it. They get rich as a result while we get fucked. I’m disassociated with the republican party. I won’t support anyone that claims to be one.

Trump had his time and place and unfortunately allowed his mouth t blow it for him, and us.
That's bullshit, pure and simple. Don't even try to blame this on Trump. He has been the same since he rode down that escalator back in 2015, over 7 years ago. The problem isn't Trump, and never was. And it isn't now. The problem is the overall stupidity and laziness of the American voter. You have a country that is falling apart, that just 2 years ago under Trump had one of the most vibrant economies in decades.

Totally energy independent. 1.3% inflation. Cheap fuel prices. No supply chain issues. And a sealed, controlled border. And Biden deliberately destroyed all of it in less than 24 months.

And on a voting day that should have easily been the biggest landslide in Republican history, less than 50% of Republican voters turn out nationwide.... And Trump wasn't even on the ballot. States like New York, Illinois, (Chicago), Michigan, and California, all reelect the same idiots that put them on this Kamikaze course in the first place.

Trump spent millions on rallies trying to fire up the Republican base to get out and VOTE. It was his biggest and strongest message.

Instead they stayed home on their worthless, lazy asses and blamed him. This has nothing to do with Trump. People in this country are so stupid and apathetic, they're not going to wake up until they get a bayonet shoved up their brain dead asses by some crazed, foreign, slant eyed soldier.

But but but Trump is a Russian spy!! Russia Russia Russia.
A man that was in the news, tabloids and TV for fifty years was turned into a Russian spy in months. Propaganda works wonders with the simpleton population. Which BTW seems to be the majority.
    Then there's those mean tweets.

Next time you are filling up at the gas station ask people around you if they would rather have Trump or Biden. Give it a few more weeks when Biden doesn't dump more of the strategic reserve and gas prices spike again.

    Neither of those tools lol.

Trump is no longer an outsider and he is an egoist so he cannot get out of his own damn way and no one will work with him. That douche passed more gun control, pushed lockdowns, pushed the vax, gave us yet another State sponsored terror group (err, excuse me, federal agency), and appointed all sorts of shitheads to high positions and kept other fucking morons around like Milley. He didnt do fucking shit about anything he said he would be he did raise taxes lol.

Desantis is great for some B Roll or a soundbyte but that is it. Plently of pedos, human traffickers and drug traffickers in the State of Florida still. He banned guns at an event he wasnt allowed to being it was public property then sent his Gestapo to arrest anyone protesting it. I dont see feds or anything being banished from his state and all he does is send invaders inland to the US instead of dropping them off in mangroves.

Desantis is only a smidge better than Trump at this point and end of the day it doesnt matter. All these politicians ride Epstein jets, insider trade, war profiteer and money launder together. We are not voting out of this. Save an Article 5 or wide spread secession or an Articles of Confederation 2.0 with regional division we are....fucked.

    But so is Europe.

And to frost the cake and light the candles, Trump has been saying for YEARS that worthless idiot RINO Mitch McConnell has to go.... And just yesterday what do the Republicans do? They go right ahead and reelect the worthless son of a bitch as Senate Minority Leader.... AGAIN.

This after he, (McConnell), deliberately funneled campaign funds from a major PAC into Colorado, (which is already blue due to Republican political fuck ups), while not spending jack shit in Arizona, where it was so desperately needed. The result?

Kari Lake, (who was endorsed by Trump), was defeated in favor of Katie Hobbs. A stupid, mentally diminished, nasal toned 14 year old imbecile. Who refused to even debate Kari Lake. Because she knew Lake would mop up the floor with her.

And Blake Masters was easily defeated by that asswipe, flaming liberal Mark Kelly. Who has openly supported Biden's open border policy disaster since day one.

So now we have yet another red state that has turned blue as a direct result of total lunacy by the Republicans. Who are headed up by Mitch McConnell. With "friends" the likes of this asshole, who needs political enemies?

Now the only question that remains, is how the idiot Republicans will hang that totally needless fuck up that they single handedly created, on Trump.

Mitch the turtle is a smart politician. He has his own PAC that has over a hundred million dollars. Those that kiss his ring get access to those funds for their election. He also has strategic people in the RNC that dole out the funds that are in the republicants coffer. The people he didn't fund were Trump backed.

I'm saying no such thing. It's actually the opposite. What they did in Colorado and Arizona proves it. They helped the Democrats with their stupid financial antics.

All I am saying is Trump is the same guy he's always been. Nothing about him has changed. The only difference is now the voters are stupid enough to believe the opposition in his own party, who have been against him from the get go. And who have been pumping their heads full of bullshit all along.

They elected Trump because he wasn't a politician, and because he spoke his own mind, and stood up to the establishment. Now all of a sudden they support DeSantis because he is everything Trump isn't. Now, all of a sudden it's good to be a groomed, polite politician.

Desantis said in 2021 he had no intentions of running for President in 2024 and lately when asked he has avoided the question. So what if it's Trump or Cruz, Pompeo, Nikki Haley, or even Pence or even someone as of yet unknown?

Then shit's gonna get real interesting, eh?

I’m hoping Hershel Walker gives some bleeding ulcers. Shit if Fetterman can get elected why not Walker? At least Walker likes guns and supports gun rights.

To all those who believe that voting will not get you out of this crisis.
Perhaps, you simply have to go back to the beginning in order to change something in the country. Republicans and Democrats are very divided. On smaller level or citizen level they rarely talk about issues. It is more like left or right, no discussing, but arguing and hating the opposite party.
Actually, anti-gun people and the pro-gun people are only in their own circles. What is smarter, just hate people who are anti-gun or to have a conversation with them?

Some people lose their fear as soon as they try shooting. I mean hey it's a great sport. Ask yourself, what could I do to get the country a little more pro gun. The answer is probably, talk to the people of the opposite party at citizen level,(not politicians). Would any American who is for gun rights manage to get one anti-gun person to try shooting. Even if it's just one person a month, maybe some real good could come of it.

Basically what I'm saying is be the nice guy, be friendly and try to introduce a moderate anti-gun person to the shooting sport. Take them to the range and maybe a nice range day will change their mind.

You are correct, a few may be won over by actually shooting, but the reality is that its not about guns per se, its about a focused group who are intent on disarming the people. Why? So they cant fight back when their goods and rights are taken and if they object theyre taken to the 're education' centers. Think it cant happen, look no further than Germany. Kapiesh?
