BEWARE, I kept a Diamondback AR15 for a demo for the shop.. The barrel threading was off 14 thousands in 1/2 inch causing a baffle strike on one of my demo silencers. There customer service said once the Flash Hider is removed you void your warrantee..

You must be a rocket scientist.
Did you figure that out all on your own?

No, not quite a rocket scientist but I do have enough sense to check alignment of a new suppressor/host combo before shooting it. I figure that a FFL/SOT would as well before telling everyone about it on a forum but apparently not. I also wouldn't think that the same would state that a manufacturer's whole line of weapons is unsuitable as a suppressor host because one example had non concentric threads at the muzzle, but yet again...apparently not.

And no, I do not have any vested interest or own a single item manufactured by Diamondback.

Your so smart, I wonder how the rest of us mortal's will get threw life.
I have over 15 demo cans I wipe my ass with them!.
So a baffle strike does not mean SHIT to me.
But for the people buy cans waiting 8 months to get them if you own a Diamondback AR15 you might want to check the threading.
Or send it to WFJAMES22 he has all the answers..

Thanks for the laugh brother.

They put me on hold twice, he told me he talked to the owner and once you removed the flash hider you voided the Warrantee..
I told him I would let everyone know that this is there policy.. LOL.. WTF!!
I took the barrel to Mark at Short Action Customs and he fixed it.
I could care less I am using if for a post dealer sample so the night I finished converting it to full auto I was checking to make sure it cycled
was not thinking of barrel alignment..

When I sold firearms a while ago we had lots of issues with diamondback pistols and rifles. There customer service was awful and most of the firearms broke while customers handled them. They didn't even make it out of the store. Sorry to hear

*sigh*

1) "I will inform you that I am a Site Sponsor" sounds a lot like "I'm kind of a big deal around here". But making a direct comparison to Ron Burgundy seems too nice of a compliment for you right now.
2) Just because you are a Site Sponsor doesn't mean you have some sort of license to talk more shit and act like a whiny butt-hurt child. In fact, you should hold yourself to a higher standard of "Netiquette" with more professionalism and Customer-oriented responses.
3) This is a community of marksmen. Many of us are either active or retired public servants (military, LEO, fire, rescue, you-name-it). If you don't have a healthy self-deprecating sense-of-humor, you just won't last... ESPECIALLY as a "Site Sponsor".

Lighten up, Francis...

Maybe you should have taken the time to read the rules..

Hmmmm. Here we go.

ON Topic: I think your public bashing of Diamondback is predominantly UNwarranted since you failed to perform a simple safety-check before firing live rounds through a newly modified rig. You then proceeded to imply to that company that They should fix Your mistake, and then when they refused to do so (reasons given are irrelevant to the root cause issue), you finally proceed to lambast their entire company and Customer Service ethic based on your single interaction.

Then, once You opened Yourself up to Public Forum scrutiny by posting your ridiculousness, a member called you on your safety-check oversight. You then proceed to commence with the personal attacks, rudeness, flaming, baiting, and insults to others.

Let's see, where have a I read "Personal attacks, rudeness, flaming, baiting, insults to others" before?...
Oh yeah, that's right, it would be Rule #1 of the Forum Rules.

1.Exercise common sense and be considerate toward your fellow users. Diversity of opinion and intelligent civil discourse is encouraged; by the same token, Personal attacks, rudeness, flaming, baiting, insults to others, or arguments will not be tolerated. Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully. Any member who threatens anyone on the forum, via PM, instant messengers, or Email, will be banned immediately without notice.

Of course, most of us don't need to LAWYER up and quote rules to each other. We just simply follow them, or at least their spirit and intent.

To that effect, I'm done with you. Feel free to post whatever follow-on diarrhea of your keyboard. I don't care. Your character is represented well-enough.
Good luck on your future range excursions.

Cheshier2, I think others have missed that in doing a safety check of the threads and alignment you would have already voided the warranty by removing the FH and under that premise DB would still have refused to fix the problem even if you had found it before the baffle strike. That's the real issue as I see it, and it's garbage that reflects very poorly on Diamonback's practices.

I am thankful for the info. Why people felt the need to play "Hater Chuck" over anything in your post is beyond me.

I think the reason "hater chuck" was played. 2 reasons he's very quick to dish out crap or insults to anyone and 2nd is in the recent past & present we've all seen how many times he post his trust sale adds and bumps them up constantly anywhere from optics sale section to suppressor section. If he's a vendor that's fine but if it's a firearm it goes in the firearm section, if it's an optic....
It's just annoying the type of sales pitch that's being displayed.
I enjoy seeing all vendors ads and frequently purchase from this site. But these ads almost seem like spam, they pop up everywhere

If by posting this opinion I'm breaking any forum rules, sorry. I can remove at mods request
