By the way, the original thread had nothing to do with Larue products. Frank put up a "Proof of Concept" thread about using an ACOG for a back up site instead of a traditional BUIS. He talked about the reliability of the return to zero of a QD and mentioned the brand he likes over Larue. That's when the shit storm started.
