Ok, this is on a car forum I frequent, this guy came on and said this.
"My Enfield is dead on @850 yrds, but it gets a little iffy past that, but it is still a .303, not one of the rare .308's.
If you can find one, they are pretty damned cheap, usually a hundred bucks or less, and very solid and reliable.
One word of advise, though, they make a fiber stock for them. It looks better with it, but the rifle isn't nearly as accurate without the full wood stock that they came with.
