It has to be for a Polaris 900 RZR or could possibly be used on some year of Polaris Ranger.

It's the housing for the side sand filter/pre filter intake. I've searched for it and cant seem to find anything excect the filters that go in it. I'm looking for the black housing.

I have a BNIB tan Surefeed USGI 30 rounder for you if you can find it.

From polaris the black housing is sold only with the rear fender. the grill is sold separate. Your Military version could be different.

    Either #1 or #5 here. https://www.genuinepolarisparts.com/oemparts/a/pol/503652e6f870023684116f13/body-rear-rack-fenders

    still looking though.

You may be onto something; I was hoping they made them seperately as an insert. The 900/1000 has an all plastic fender/body panel set that for some years is basically just molded in. Whereas mine is metal and would be simplier to find this housing and mount it on the metal as opposed to using the other version where its metal grates with a pre filter behind it.

eta - Looks like its part of #5. Now if we could only find it by itself, it was obviously made at some point.

Military stuff looks like not for the average civilian. I just talked to my buddy at Polaris dealer and he can't order parts for the MRZR

    could try this.

Been there, done that. As soon as they find out I'm not calling from DoD with a purchase order they don't want to talk to me.

I originally contacted them about the seats which they didn't want to help me with. Figured out it uses 6x the rear seats and they are simply re-upholstered with the tan synthetic material. So I had them made. Fuck Polaris Defense.

I'm taking all the good stuff from the MRZR4 and changing the stupid shit they did. We're basically making a Mod1 with a 1000cc upgrade at this point.

I will see if I can find one to look at. My RZR is an 800 trail model so that does us no good.

Weird thing with the MRZRs is that they basically used a 900 frame and then put random Polaris parts on them sometimes using Ranger parts or kind of winging it. It's obvious from all that Ive been through with it, that outside the suspension, they really went out of their way to not use any 3rd party stuff.

My biggest surprise is that they haven't built the rear deck with internal air box as a conversion kit for the 900's and sold them.
