I've recently acquired a FNAR .308 heavy to do some coyote sniping on our farm- as they are plentiful. I intend to use it as a dual purpose predator/deer hunting slash home protection.
I've read many of your posts about saving up for good glass eating rainbow stew- but I really want to hunt the remainder of the year. Anything over $1k is out of the equation.
Anyone else have a setup like this who could recommend a decent scope to achieve my objectives and not break the bank?
