We have been seeing around a 6-7 month wait time. Hasn't hit 8 months yet... Also heard on the grapevine that ATF hired a few new people to help speed up the wait time, trying to get it down to 5 months.

I think this is what the American Silencer group is working on, no? Like UK, Finland, other civilized places? I know we're stuck with suppressors being controlled by NFA 1934 BUT, we all know that, once approved, we should be able to buy and keep/use a can on the spot if the NICS system is adjusted to cover NFA items... why wait 6 months? Or a week? Why not cash and carry after a call to ATF and payment of the $200 for the stamp which could be issued by the Class 03/SOT dealer.

I just had a form 4 get approved after going pending 4 months and 2 weeks. It took a few days to get here but I have the item and form in hand as of yesterday.
They are showing signs of improvement and I hope they keep it up.

That is a big improvement. I'm doing 7 Form 4's tomorrow so I hope the trend continues. The Form 4's to the dealer were very very fast.

They form 3 to your dealer from manufacturer. I just filled out a few today and sent them out. Now the long wait!
