I've purchased 4 from CA this year, the entire process takes about a month, maybe a little less. Took anywhere from 36 hours to 11 days to get ATF approval for me, all on a trust . then they mail a certified letter to your local CLEO, Sherrif in my case, letting them know they're mailing a NFA item to you. Once the CLEO signs for the notification letter there is a 7 day waiting period mandated by the ATF before hey can ship the can to you. Really not bad at all.Anyone do the ship to home suppressor buy yet???
I just bought a Huxwrx 556K from Capitol Armory with the Form4 efile ship to your door option... We shall see.
This will be on my Trust.

I went through the exact process you did, printscan eft fingerprint file, etc. It was easy. CA is VERY helpful with the entire process, to my Bank accounts demise.Completed my Capital Armory profile and uploaded my Trust and picture. Stupid easy. Then was able to make a apt at PrintScan in the UPS Store 0.5mile from my house 10min from when I went to make the apt. Walked in, sat down, took 5min and done. Got an email from PrintScan right after I clicked the complete and submit button at the UPS Store saying they received my fingerprints... Just waiting on the emailed EFT file so I can upload it to my Capital Armory profile then everything is done on my end.
This was stupid easy! Ive bought a lot of suppressors, done a bunch of eFile Form1's.. Now having this EFT fingerprint file for life makes all of this so much easier. The fingerprints were the only annoying part in the past even though I simplified it for years by rolling my own...
Once this tax stamp goes away, buying NFA items, especially from stores that you already have a profile setup become as easy as clicking and buying something off amazon.
That ain’t no lie. Jan 1 I got some cans I want to add to the collection.to my Bank accounts demise.
I have 2 paid for at my local SOT, deciding if I should wait till the $0 tax stamp kicks in to save me $400.. however I am skeptical about how fast the approval time will be then because there will probably be like 50,000 form 4's filed immediately when no tax stamp kicks in.That ain’t no lie. Jan 1 I got some cans I want to add to the collection.
Also toss the couple I don’t have in my trust as I was trying to avoids then even longer wait times that were happening a few years ago
