WTF are the little yellow plastic squares that are in every Forster die case??? I can't believe this hasn't been asked before but I come up with nothing on google.

Re: Forster Die Question

I think they are there to absorb moisture. Not sure how true that is, but I was told to just leave them in the box with the dies.

Re: Forster Die Question

Thought I remember reading it somewhere.

It's on the die instructions. "The half-inch yellow square tab is an anti-rust agent. Keep this tab with the dies."

Re: Forster Die Question

Thanks! One of these days I'll learn to read instructions.

Re: Forster Die Question

I was wondering that too, but I have another yellow thing ordered today

Re: Forster Die Question

Damn!! I think I threw those things out!!! I couldn't figure out what they were for either... Gotta Go Check!!!

Good Info!!!

Re: Forster Die Question

They're there to generate more calls to the Forster Customer Service line. It's a conspiracy between the shippers and the phone clerks to create a need for more positions at the company

Actually, they're like everyone said before, rust preventive devices.
