Ok, little update. I just sent a test transfer of the odd .75 cents we had in the account to Mrs. Veer. I'll hear back from her if she got it or not. If no issue, I'll be forwarding this balance!! 
I received 3 more envelopes yesterday and have contacted the 2 guys I know who they are, but one of the envelopes is from Sterling CO and I'm struggling to put a Hide name to it. Haven't opened it yet, but will when I get home.
Again, great job on this. You guys went over the top on this one, BIG TIME!

Who the fuck sent 75 cents? Do we need to take a collection for them? Was it the German? Is he really a poor?

Mrs Veer just contacted me to inform us the Pickle Bunny Hoodie arrived and she has draped it over his wheelchair that sits in the room he spent most of his time in. She stated he'd have loved it.

This has been an awesome accomplishment by the community! Everyone involved shows just what a tight knit community this is. I don't chip my .02 in very often but this was really great to see! The world will be a lesser place without Veer but you guys have done his memory proud! I still wonder about an obituary or some kind of follow up so we can learn more of the man under the different hat? An interesting story, to say the least, I am sure.
Mike, even I have yet to see or hear of an Obit. After talking with his Wife a number of times I'm of the opinion she is of the same mindset as @Veer_G , pretty darn private. Right, wrong, or indifferent, I fully respect their privacy in that manner.
I do think that if a whole bunch of people/friends from all over the Globe sent me a couple of $1000 bucks I would be able to come up with something to say, if nothing else,"Fuck you, you silly suckers."

Save yourself the worry. Have a separate computer that you use for all your "research" that runs Linux with LUKS full disk encryption and never write down the password. That way if you ever die or stop being able to think properly, you never have to worry about your relatives finding out about the twisted things that went on in your head.......
