The guy telling the story was a kid when that happened, maybe he stretched the truth a little...I have been guilty of not remembering everything perfectly from when I was a kid.
Finished the rough draft of my novel(la) today. Some parts need rewritten, some expanded, and final editing needs to be done. But at least now it's a full and complete story that could be read from one end to the other. Not sure I'll bother continuing anytime soon but at least it's a (semi-)finished product now.
I don't think I can get an agent to run with it and self publishing is surprisingly expensive.

He came out acting pissed. I apologized and told him I’d be gone as soon as I could get started. He said he was an Indian guy and laughed at the broke down Harley.
Ended up driving us to local Harley dealer for a new battery and took us to a Sonic for lunch.
