On some of those signs, people are against Maven and Dragonfly which I find in good taste. Not sure what Maven was about, but Dragonfly is some straight up nazi shit.

Googlers around the world walked out at 11:10AM because Google fired some guy that harassed some people and paid out his contract.

Yeah, I'm not so sure it's having the intended consequences. When you walk out, and the response is "we'll do everything to accommodate them" then it's either up the ante or shut up and take it.

I fear the whole peaceful protest and walkouts of the 60's only worked because it caught the system off guard and they didn't know how to deal with it. Today they have a whole arms industry to deal with that.

Personally I think everyone that walked off the job when they were supposed to be on the clock should be fired. They want to protest they should be doing it on their own time.

And that isnt just for Google.
